In Sandys SFP interview she states I didnt know Spencer was gay until he was voted off. Now wouldnt that mean, they spent time together in LL? If its true then
perhaps either Sydney or Joe make the merge in place of Spencer.

Miles Edgeworth wrote:Really I hadn't caught that one, that would be great. I wonder then, if this is the time that Spencer takes to come out to his family, during the visit. It was spoiled some time before the release of the contestants that someone came out during the filming and that his family didn't know. This makes sense as to why and how he would come out on the show and inform his family. And that she says that Spencer didn't know he was gay, is a gaffe. I am sure he has known he was gay long before Survivor, he may not have admitted it to anyone until the show. Sandy has a few tidbits in her interview. About Taj, she said that the Eddie George connection probably connected her to the men as they were drawn in to her husband's celebrity. So it may not have the negative side that we all thought it would have. Also, Sandy did not hear that Taj was in a singing group, to me that means that she makes the merge. I am sure Taj would have told her she was in the group if they were in Loser's lodge together. She was the 4th in the alliance of JT/Stephen and Taj. Stephen was right in his vote stating that voting off Sandy might be strategically a poor move as that puts the alliances at 3 each instead of 4 to 2 if they would have gotten rid of Sydney. Joe and Sydney are thick together. |

oh crap, we have us another Denise situation. Sandy got laid off her bus driving when she got home. And no chance she will get $50 000, thanks to Denise's
selfish lie.

Wtf is Sandy talking about?
Spencer was gay and out before Survivor. He talked about it in an interview where he bashed Charlie and said that he and his mom talked about Charlie's voice or something. So he was gay and out during Gabon. Edit: Unless Gabon started airing after Tocantins was already wrapped and the entire cast was back home.

"In my life experience, about half the people kind of suspect, and the other half are like, I never would have guessed. … Society in general is seemingly coming around more to accepting people; especially guys don't think you're checking them out, and my teammates, they don't give a shit. We walk around in spandex bottoms-shirtless, spandex, nobody cares. We have ripped guys on my team, but I'm not like *boing* all day long." His sound effect was accompanied by a hysterical crotch-area hand gesture. |

I think Spencer would have watched the majority of Gabon after he returned from Tocantins. I think the dates for filming Tocantins were mid-late Oct to early
December. The time when most of Gabon aired.
I am so glad Spencer is on the show for many reasons, a mature teenager (he is only 19), a HUGE survivor geek (like us) and a gay man who isn't weak or affected, and doesn't define his overall personality. I do hope predict, however that it comes out on the show that he is gay, and for the reason that he breaks the obvious stereotype that has been evident in the recent past seasons of Survivor. (flamboyant, straight boy lusting, physically weak or overly emotional) ETA- fixed, after reading this post from Anti. What I am gonna do is come down on anyone who uses the word "hope" in a spoiler thread. If you're using that word in a post, your post doesn't belong in the forum.

Well this totally explains the rumour on the Survivor 17+ board where someone spoiled that there was a 19 year old during Tocantins that comes out during the
season.

Doesn't necessarily mean he's a pre-jury boot. Could just mean he wasn't out during gameplay...and came out after he was voted out. She could have
heard when they all got home.

I guess it's time for me to make my rest-of-the-season boot predictions, way late for me, i'm aware. Remember, these are strictly predictions.
12th- Taj 11th- Joe 10th- Spencer 9th- Sierra [1st Juror] 8th- Erinn [2nd Juror] 7th- Stephen [3rd Juror] 6th- Sydney [4th Juror] 5th- Coach [5th Juror] 4th- Debbie [6th Juror] 3rd- Tyson [7th Juror] Final 2: J.T vs. Brenden I think that Taj will be blindsided, thinking sydney will be booted. Shortly before tribal council. I think spencer willbe taken out as the merge boot for hitting on some of the guys. Brenden being in the final 2 is very realistic in my judgements of this season, because is is smart and crafty, so at the merge he will join forces with the ex-timbira's, to prove his loyalty, but be a flip-flopper to the end. J.T wins every immunity challenge, being the strong alabama dude he is. |

Reality TV Magazine - it's Sydney that she spoils.
Her Pick To Win Although she really enjoyed Spencer's company, she's rooting for another person to win the game. "Stephen is from the city - totally out of his element. I hope he wins the game. He did great at teaming up with JT because opposites attract. And Stephen and JT have got to be like 360 - I mean they're total opposites. I love the fact that he got up in there with JT and said, 'I want to learn about fishing - I want to learn everything.' And it was really cool, he caught his first fish ever, so Stephen is a great guy. I think he and JT will go real far. They're the team to beat, there you go, that's what I believe. That alliance there is so thick, it's unbelievable. I describe them as Siamese twins - you do not see one without the other." Sandy Vs. Sydney But one person at Jalapao became her apparent enemy who stood in the way of her survival - Sydney. "Sydney and I really didn't have a relationship at all really. She was with the guys most of the time, hanging around them, or on them or whatever. … The beauty and the body. I don't know why they didn't go with strength over the beauty and the body. That's not going to get you wins at challenges, you got to have strength like I had. I have no clue. I hate it, but that's the way the tribe voted. Mentally I think that I was more wiser. I really felt I was more wiser. Like the raid at the other camp. If they'd of sent me on the raid, I would've took all of the ammunition. There's no way I would've left them anything to shoot back at me. I would've took every piece of food that they had versus the ones that went and said, 'Oh we left them a little bit in case there's a merge or whatever.' No, you need to play the game today and that's all your guaranteed is today. I would've took all their food." Sandy had called the food, "Fartin' beans," and just in case you were wondering, she did say that after eating them she got a tad gassy. As for Sydney, she says the flirting is going on much deeper than the TV shows. "She's flirting with all of them, it's not just Joe. She's playing JT and Stephen.
She is right in the middle of all of them guys and everything that they do. If I had a body like hers, I would use it to the max, too. In fact I might be
worse. That body and that face is not gonna keep her in that game. It might take her a little ways, but it aint gonna take her far."

craig wrote: That entire second paragraph shows why she is a shit strategist. Taking everything from them when you aren't far from the merge is a terrible move. Alienating an entire tribe. Absolutely brilliant. And as much as I dislike Sydney, I'm sure she "was more wiser" than Sandy. |

Sorry Craig, but I don't get how any of that spoils anything, could you explain it to me? How do you get that there was "no merge?" And as far as
it "not taking Sydney far" I think we pretty much already knew that. Sandy didn't really spoil exactly how far it takes her...
