RobRob. They really did put the top 2 in the pink pod. Sooo Close, but you still have to be pretty proud that you are the first guest that Val identifies by name (nickname at least). Thanks for sharing all your Solitary 3.0 Knowledge. You're still my favorite guest though :) I do have to ask you, what happened since the fifth treatment???
Andrew. Congratulations on winning solitary, I was a bit dissapointed that you used the red button in the end. So close to number 7 in solitary 1.0. I find it interesting that the most average everyday person always win solitary, but I had a feeling you would win by the time you won the test.

I hope we can all still chat about Solitary, especially since I want to share some ideas of torment for S 4.0

I've read almost this entire thread tonight now that the show is over (didn't want any spoilers happening just in case). I have tons of questions, but many were addressed.. I have a few now if you don't mind.

RobRob:

1) Did the final treatment really go to round 21 or was that a little bit of show fiction? --I think it really was 21 rounds, but that was 6 months ago. :-)

2) Did you have mental images of some of your other contestants and how they looked based on the vague descriptions provided by Val and some of their comments told to you through Val? If so, which contestant was the closest to your mental image and who was the farthest? --9 was closest and 6 was furthest (thought he was a girl)

3) One of my biggest questions is one in which I saw you are prohibted from answering and that is how long does Solitary actually take place. Why do the producers want that to be a secret? Seems weird. I don't know if you answered this but can you at least say if you were anywhere close to the actual result? --I think they don't want future contestants to know how long they are going to be in there.

4) A little gross: is the bathroom just in the anti-pod? or in a separate room from the anti-pod? It would seem like eating a gigantic burrito and ice cream followed by a shitload of malt balls, donuts etc would produce some uh... fragrant waste. --there is a door to a portypotty attached to the antipod.

5) No showers I assume, everyone managed to remain fairly presentable even after a week or more in a pod. No deodarant either? Did you ever get to that point where you were like, damn I really do smell bad. --Yes, it was already bad after the Rocky Road challenge. There was a foot pump sink thing in the portypotty, but it doesn't help the smell much.

6) What was harder: flesh clips or being bored out of your mind when nothing was happening for 6+ hours. (I assume there were stretches of doing nothing that took that long) --The long periods with no contact are horrible. I would rather be in a treatment then have to sit there waiting and wondering or having to talk to Val about my suicidal father and failed relationships.

Guess that it's for now.. need to think of show/treatment specific ones.

Anyhow, huge fan, wish you had won. Andrew seems like a good guy though but would have loved to have seen a #3 vs #4 final treatment.
