Sorry for the hiatus, but I was away skiing for the weekend, and this is the first time I've really had to sit down and write one up. Here you go...



























































































6. Cirie blindsides Courtney.
"I know that Shane wants to take Courtney to the final two. He's told me that. And I know Terry wants to take Courtney to the final two, and to me, that makes Courtney the most dangerous person out here.

Maybe a more appropriate quote would be "CIRIEOWNAGE!" coming from almost all of sucks. I would have to agree. This was absolutely brilliant, it was unprecedented (for the most part), and it has never been successfully repeated. Going into tribal council, three people's votes were very clear: Shane was dead-set on voting for Danielle, while Aras had two votes going in his direction courtesy of Terry and Courtney. Using simple math skills to deduce that 3>2, Cirie realized that she could get Aras and Danielle. So after filling in Aras from his stay on Exile and convincng Danielle that not to do so would mean playing for third place, the two joined Cirie in voting for Courtney, thus blindsiding her with fewer than a majority of votes. This brilliant execution, however, is only part of why I rank this so high. This boot marked the start of the "boot the goat strategy." Now you all know how this works. Cirie knew that people wanted to take Courtney because, as Shane said, "ANYONE could beat her." This made Courtney more valuable than Cirie to the tribe. Knowing also that she was somewhat of a jury threat and could beat someone other than a goat, Cirie put this all together (the fact that Courtney was somewhat of a challenge threat also contributed, I'm sure), and thus, the strategy of booting more valuable, yet less threatning (in a jury vote) people was born.
