"You son of a bitch I wanted to rip your balls off" I believe was her exact quote. He was a weekend dad at that time and when we asked to please please please watch it he let us. I guess my stepmother came home that night to him freaking out because I had woken up screaming from a shark infested nightmare. I kinda feel bad for him because it apparently still makes him feel like shit that I'm deathly afraid of water to this day. If I was younger I would work on translating that absentee father guilt into a new car or sumpin'. I settled for a kick ass jumbo white shrimp linguine.

It was about a rampant grizzly bear on a serial killing spree. To an 8 year old it was traumatizing. This is one reason I don't like being in the woods.

I can't believe so many people are scared of "Jaws". It's pretty lame. The Strangers is the only movie that's freaked me out in a while. And for some reason, "One Missed Call" scared me. The part where she's crawling through that little tunnel and the woman's corpse pops out. And the freaky demon baby in the crib. Whoa.

Again I was pretty young. One night in my 20s I watched The Shining alone in my apartment in the dark and that gave me the creeps for the rest of the night. Hadn't scared me before and hasn't since. Something just hit me right that night I guess.
