I guess she didn't really last too long, did she? Sorry.
I really hate that the key to all of this is some whiny, crying baby girl who is annoying.

I tried to keep telling myself that the beginning flashbacks would come into play and connect somehow to the present in some intelligent way... how
disappointing that the first 15 minutes of the episode turned out to be pointless. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT?!
I <3 Roslin but just kill her off already. I don't care about her past. I don't care about Baltar's past either. This was all so irrelevant. When ypu can only make the last 10 minutes of the episode important at driving the story forward you know you suck at writing. Man, for the second last episode of the entire series that was absolutely DREADFUL! |

This would have been an incredible episode had it been the FIRST episode of the season, not the last!

I've liked all the episodes so far. Yes, a lot of them have been filler, but then there would be nothing left for the finale. Obviously, the battle royal
will occur next week. All will be revealed next week. And now that Roslin in on board for the end- a new home world will be found. The new home will
probably be born of that blackhole that protects the cyclon home world.

I agree with Gregoire. Next week had better be phenomenal.
Did anyone else hear Baltar say fucking instead of frakking when he was yelling at his Dad? I rewound several times and kept hearing that. Then he said frakking a couple of times later in the scene. |

50 minutes of self-indulgent tripe for 10 minutes of ok-ness.

Tough crowd.
Come on, you can't fault them for giving us a glimpse at what the spin-off prequel will look like. Plus, I wonder if the events of those flashbacks will figure into the Caprica finale. Loved seeing mental Six before she went evil, too. So sad to see Galactica being emptied. And there's nothing wrong with the finale tied to the save Hera mission. Although I agree that the pacing has been flat given that they're heading into the finale, my bet is that this will turn out to surpass that insufferable season of Lost that redeemed itself with the kickass finale. Why? Because BSG, for all its faults, has never been insufferable. |

I honestly don't think the last few episodes have been that bad. Last night's episode was yet another glimpse into the psyches of many of the
important characters. It was well done and executed. It also explains why they would go on this suicide mission. I think everyone here is very disappointed
because they expect them to find our "Earth" for some reason. And so everyone thinks there isn't enough time to do that and defeat Cavil. I
think the Earth premise is done, dead and buried. The future of the human and rebel cylon race lies in the final battle between Galactica and Cavil. All the
mythology (i.e. Hera, Starbuck, the purpose of the final five, who the frak bombed "Earth", etc.) will be explained in the finale. I think if people
are waiting for there to be some twist to the Earth as home premise will be disappointed. I've been enjoying the mini-reveals and the character
development. One of the many reasons why enjoy this series is not because of the twisted mythology or shoot 'em up action scenes, but the character, their
interactions and development. The writers have teased the hell of the audience with pieces of the final puzzle, but it's all leading to the finale. And
I'm still quite excited to see how it ends.

It hasn't lived up to my expectations except for the mutiny arc, but honestly there wasn't anyway they could end this show that would leave me
satisfied. But compared to the brilliance and intensity of season's past, this half-season has been pretty weak.

I really enjoyed this ep. It was a nice touch seeing most of the cast pre-fall especially Roslin. Did we know she had 2 sisteres and a dad who died before the
fall? I remember Baltar talking about his working class upbrining and change of accents though. Kara meeting Lee (and seeing Zack again) was a nice touch. Plus
we got the other Cylons like Simon!

I liked those flashbacks too, greatly in fact. I just would have liked to have seen them build into the season, not close it. Its unclear to me why we are
seeing them for characters like Anders, who's spoken more in the last four episodes than all his other episodes combined.

I don't think it's really fair the flashbacks are pointless and don't play into the story until we see how they close it out.
I sort of took it to be our chance to see why charcaters would or would not volunteer in the end. |

The flashbacks sucked, except for Six's of course. Still sort of sucked too. If that is whar Caprica is going to be, I won't be jumping on that train.
Soooo. They are going to be next to a black hole... Starbuck was on Earth 2000 years ago. Black hole is a wormhole. Galactica, with all the main characters, gets sucked through that wormhole and ends up at "Earth" somewhere in the past. Galactica is destroyed in the process. The survivers are stuck there. Humans and skinjobs get busy because Hera proves they can mate. We are all part human, part skinjob. The end. |

my mind was blown by the scene with drunken lee chasing the pigeon.
quite possibly the most important scene in the show's history. also, mary mcdonnel's scene after her family died. i've been familiar with her "smell a fart" acting style for awhile (all reactions are based on smelling a fart, the only variations depend on who's fart she is smelling (her own, a baby's, her dad's, a hobo, etc.)) But i'd never seen the searching for a fart method before. genius. |

Talk about self aggrandizing - the whole line down the deck scene was unbearable.
I thought the Caprica scenes were interesting yet in the end - pointless. Interesting that they are just supposed to tease another series. With how poorly this one has been run, written, cut, etc this season, I'm beyond shocked that they would spin this off. |
