Weird. Our default dvr channel is Music Choice Retro-Active (80s and 90s alternative/post-punk/New Wave), and when we stopped the dvr after the show tonight,
the song playing was Wall Of Voodoo's Ring of Fire. I'd never heard it before.
I'm still trying to figure out if I loved or hated his performance tonight. I think people saying Johnny's rolling in his grave are wrong, though. He never had any trouble extending his middle finger where it was needed. Whether it was needed tonight - that's what I'm trying to figure out. |
