Why would their heads explode? They aren't in this thread being all pissed off about any other Idol's success. They aren't fanwarring like the Keltards do to try to prove that Kelly is better than Carrie and calling the other Idols bad names. Clay has a "Best Of" album coming out at the end of March. It won't get any promotion, those kind of albums usually don't, but he'll sell a few. Then he'll move on to recording his 6th album without any input from 19R or RCA. That is when we'll see what he can do on his own.

has Clay been signed to another label Robbin? is he recording that 6th album on his own as an indie artist?

He's not giving away too much of his plans just yet but his last couple of blogs are interesting.

You didn't hear it from me!

You realize... some things that I participate in, I'm not really allowed to talk about until I've been given permission by the folks who I did them for. A lot of times that's why y'all find things out before we say anything about them. We can't help that you're very good sleuths while we're trying to keep things a surprise. Often times, like the ANTM episode, we have to allow the production company to decide when they want to announce my participation and we have to let them do it first. So, if you hear it somewhere besides here first, it's because I'm just following directions and letting someone else tell their business not me. (And because, I've always been so used to rules about non-disclosure from Idol and such, that I just apply them to everything I ever work on.. just to be safe) In this day and age of IMMEDIATE information collection, y'all are FASTER than anyone I could imagine when it comes to getting info.

All that said... here I am, out on this limb... I'm not sure what I am allowed to say yet, but I will say this. Elvis Costello is a VERY nice guy and Mary J Blige is just as stunning in person as she is on camera. Plus, Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey are such pros. I bet the season finale of their show is gonna be GREAT!

Hate to burst your bubble. While it may be tough to hear... I have not "friended" any of y'all on Facebook.

Thanks to a few good friends, I've discovered that someone is pretending to be me on there. BIG SHOCKER! And though, I normally ignore such BS, I've learned that this person (who obviously has too much time on their hands) is being inappropriately rude with some fans, and that pisses me off a bit! ;-)

While I do have a Facebook page, I have opted to keep it pretty private and really only use it rarely to keep in touch with my "Spam-Fam", my LA peeps, and a few longtime friends from home. Just wanted to make you aware... if you've "friended" me on Facebook, you've "friended" a wacko and a poser.

If you wanna stay friends with a wacko and a poser, feel free... but I know y'all have much higher standards! ;-)
