She was drinking. I kept thinking while I watched it that I'd want to be clearheaded when I talked to Dave, you know, all sober with my wits about me.

Jesus. Kathryn's been a major bore ever since her mystery wrapped up last season. I wish they killed her character first.

So that's what it looks like when an entire season falls apart.
Interesting. |

The whole "fax paper" thing really irked me. Actually, everything tonight irked me. |

SI, I agree with you. This episode is still better than 99% of the other crap on TV today, but it was a bit less that what we would expect.
Bree should dump Orson on his ass. Who would put up with that crap? Andrew was right on. I did like the Lynette setup up loud lady (wasnt she the chubby girl from October Road ?) |

really, this episode had like ... .movie writers.
The whole fax paper thing, Final Destination type multiple death, Orson going full-on ski mask robber. WTF. |

that Edie realized that Dave doesn't really love her. She was nothing more than an alibi to him getting back at Mike Delfino. In classic Edie fashion she
starts drinking heavily and who can blame her she isnt in her 20s or her 30s.
As for Orson going all weird about stealing perhaps it has something to do with him wanting to get revenge on Bree for making him go to jail for a few years. |

I didn't think the episode in general was too bad. In fact I liked most of it. But the Edie phone call to Mike and her driving instead of just running next
door really bugged me. Carlos letting Fatty run roughshod over everyone was annoying too. But Lynette cracked me up and Susan was likable again. I don't
think Edie is dead.

CatNamedRudy wrote:I thought the same thing. Running out the door seemed to be the most obvious solution. If they weren't going to have her do that I think they should have created a reason why rather than just have her looking stupid by staying with the house with the guy. Also, seriously, what's fax paper? Don't most fax machines take regular printer paper now? When she said she needed fax paper I thought she must have had one of those old-school fax machines that takes the shiny rolled up paper that's always curling up. I'd argue that it didn't make sense for her to even have a fax machine in the first place (and on her kitchen counter no less as though she uses it all the time) but if she's still doing real estate then I can kind of understand it. |

My husband irked me while we were watching this because he sided with Orson. He said he couldn't believe Bree was acting the way she was. I was like
"What?" He said Bree was emasculating Orson they way she did Rex. Yeah, maybe she does have a problem with that but does anyone else think that Orson
was being a "little" ridiculous asking Bree to give up the main thing that makes her happy? Like Andrew said, if he loves her he'd understand (or
something like that). Instead of asking Bree to give up her business, perhaps Orson could've asked Bree (again) to give him a more important job in her
company.

it's really sad to see edie go
like someone said, wish it was orson or katherine who had died instead... |

Orson and Bree were one extreme to the other. They need to meet halfway. Why couldn't Bree just make Orson a real partner and make him a part of her
business? Also, did I miss something? Doesn't Katherine own half of that business?

Why does Bree have to give Orson a job? If she is taking away his masculinity then mayhap he should not depend on her to support his lazy ass.

I liked Orson, up until this episode. He is just a little whiney crybaby now.

Orson has become such an inane character, I was *really* hoping that he would be the death and then they'd kill of Edie later in the season. I've never
really liked the guy, but he's quickly become the single most annoying character on any show that I'm watching currently. Gods, he makes Susan circa
season three look like a great character.

Yes, Andrew did look hot. Where is his pron boyfriend? Maybe I missed an episode (I don't watch it consistently)
I also thought Susan had one of the more intriguing run of scenes last night. I've worked with kids like that (teaching) who have bloody drawings ... and, yes, you have to report it and deal with it. I like the actor who played her first husband. The whole 'shooting' thing was corny and badly acted..at the expense of the lovely Edie! Oh, I'm going to miss her so much. Lynette is boring the hell out of me with her frumpy look and slouched shoulders. I did like Gabby and Tom having their 'girl talk!' MIKE IS SO DULL...kill him please.

I HATE what they're doing with Orson, it's just asinine. And like everyone else, I thought the whole thing with Edie was just fucking dumb. From the
fax paper, to the stupid text, to the drunk driving and random electrocution...lame.
