The other cute guy, Kris, really seems to have the bigger fanbase. Won't be suprised if he picked up some of Matt's fans. Ouch.

Maybe they "put" him in the bottom two strum up more votes???? I don't know. It's a shame. He's a better singer than Kris and Danny, but Danny has the white R&B over-the-top thing, and Kris has the JT/boyband thing. There's no place for Matt, so not so many fans. |

I like that he has kind of a Tom Waits thing going on with this voice, but I think his problem is that he comes off as kind of boring and in splitting the
votes between him and Kris, Kris is winning out.

Seems like both him and the Troll have trouble connecting with a wide variety of fans.
I don't see their fanbases growing unless they can have a "moment" pretty soon. Still I'll enjoy Matt's recordings for as long as he's there. |

The advantage Matt has is that I feel it is more likely Kris or Alison/Lil will slip up before he does.
He doesn't have the fanbase that Chris Richardson had (because of Kris), but he has the talent and after the Top 36 blunder, he has been precise with his song selection. Personally, I think he is safe for a while now. |

Whether he really was or not doesn't matter. They showed him in the bottom two, and that's what counts. It will likely have a positive effect on him
for next week's voting, especially if he puts forth another good performance and the judges say something like, "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WERE IN THE
BOTTOM TWO LAST WEEK YOU'RE SO GOOD!!!11!1!11ONE11!!!"

Supposedly after being the third lowest vote-getter (obviously Scott received less votes, or I falsely hope that's the case) he should be fine this week.
Although I agree with whoever said he didn't seem to connect with larger fanbase, so his days are numbered.
