The only things he said about a final-2 in his Gabon blogs were: Regarding a Final 3 vs. a Final 2: Our main concern is to make sure we keep the show interesting, so we vary it from season to season as we see fit. There are strong arguments on both sides, and I promise you whichever side you take, I will take the other side and defeat you. I love debate. Gabon Blog, Episode 10 Once and for all - the final three vs final two debate. It's a matter of choice. Personally I believe that when you have three people in the final you have a better opportunity for a good winner because you cannot simply win the final immunity challenge and then take the least liked person with you to the final vote. For instance, had we planned a final three in Fans vs Favorites, Cirie would have won and everybody would have been happy. But we had a final two planned. So, David Ellen, if we were master manipulators, why not make it a final three and let Cirie win? Enough already. That's just my opinion. For crying out loud, get over it. Gabon Blog, Episode 13 Still, let's hope they don't do what they did in China and give us a final-3 in a 16-person season.

If you really trust this Probst bullshit, then I don't know what to think. Even half of the Parvati fans will probably admit that the F2 was most likely not planned more than a week ahead of time. They did move on from it. They moved it away from the next season...only to bring it back and shove it down our throats even more. But yeah, I realized it was BS the moment he said that Cirie would win. Whatever the reason, thank you Burnett for bringing back the final two, and thank you for saving us from an Amanda win.

So certainly the odds are better. And two of the F3 seasons were, aside from All Stars and probably Thailand, the worst seasons ever IMHO. Don't forget that it was a F3 season that gave us the biggest blow-out, obvious before a jury vote had been cast that it would be a clean sweep final vote.

Gabon was better than the other three because of Sugar's unpredibility, but I still had a sick feeling in my stomach. Um, no. Its quite easy to defeat you in a debate, Probst. F3 sucks. X

As for the final three Yul vs Ozzy was an epic ending, some people might not have liked it because neither was the typical villain but you can't deny that it was one of the best choices we've ever had Todd vs Amanda vs Courtney was an awesome tribal counsil, normally finishing the game isn't much of an accomplishment but watching Courtney make it to the end made me feel proud. I also loved that the player beat the whiner. Sugar vs Susie vs Bob was another great tribal council, you had Bob basically campaign for Sugar, you Sugar pwning those losers, you had pettiness, and you had maybe the greatest what the fuck moment in the history of television with a Susie win.

Granted, they were better than what else we had that season, but don't call them best choices we ever had. :P BUT that is the one season where I liked F3, and had it ended after that, I would have been happy. F3 had nothing to do with China & Gabon having good finales. :P

Susie winning Gabon would have been so amazing. I wish Randy would have voted differently. Not that I liked Susie, but it would have been such unpredictable TV. Sandra winning Pearl Islands was surprising if you watched the first episode and then the final vote, but not if you had watched the entire season. Whereas Susie being one vote away from winning Gabon was like, "OMG WTF is happening right now?!?!" I need to re-watch Gabon!!!!

They wanted a "fan favorite" like Jeff Wilson to win, so Susie got the shaft. It sucks, but she still shined in a few episodes. But hey, at least she wasn't treated as badly as some of the people in Palau, CI, Fiji, and Micronesia. (Notice the trend?)
