A bit of trivia now: All the people that committed suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge (and there have been many!), jumped off the side facing the beautiful city of San Francisco, and not the side facing the Pacific Ocean. Kinda sad. I believe suicide and assisted suicide should be legal, but killing innocent others before you off yourself? You see it everywhere in the news these days.

I thought all you misanthropes would've seen The Bridge by now.
I think they said they have cameras that the Coast Guard monitors + witnesses, since most people ruminate for a bit before actually doing it or not. They said a key time to move in was when people would leave their wallets/purses on the ground and go over the safety rail thing. Some, of course, don't hesitate at all and they've gone over in one motion. They said they know when jumpers had changed their mind about dying and struggled to get to the surface if they saw bruising on the arms.
It's too bad they've put that net around the bridge now; people should be able to see something beautiful before they die. Where will we all go now when we reach our point ??? |

I'mma thinking you Americans are going to have to get used to this happening a lot more often, what with all the depression porn in the news. I watch that stuff and it gets me nervoursing. And us Canadians may NOT want to go Greyhound (unless you're the one with the knife LOL). Plus real life, I think real life triggers this kind of thing. |

We will also see a lot more missing little white girls. White-looking girls too. Nancy Grace will be gainfully employed till at least 2013. Strangely, darker-skinned children will remain immune to this phenomenon. |
