"The Breakfast Club" is a great movie with a horrible final ten (or so) minutes.

Some others:
West Side Story- the ending was rushed and underdeveloped The Birth of a Nation- KKK heralded as saviors The Magnificent Ambersons- studios butchered the ending much like Blade Runner and Brazil, but those two movies got their better endings back, Orson Wells wasn't so lucky Public Enemy- the government had to put up a lecture board after the film talking about how crime doesn't pay; I don't know if you would consider this part of the movie though Red River- OMG, how could I forget this movie's ending; 2nd worst in cinematic history Zulu- the Zulu warriors line-up and give a warrior's salute to the British imperialists with guns, uh-huh An Affair to Remember- the final reconciliation scene is so problematic, too many qualms to list Million Dollar Baby- so artificial, so submitted to the academy, guess it worked but still... ew Great Expectations (1946- David Lean)- Pip rips the curtains off Estella's windows and they run off into the sunset literally, lol wtf My Man Godfrey- I hate when they just throw together the two main characters at the end for a fake Hollywood ending; I mean Carole Lombard is SO annoying in this movie, bratty and spoiled, and she has no chemistry with William Powell's character; their relationship is also a slap in the face to the whole premise of the movie |

If you watched a film named Doubt, and expected to know with certainty the truth by the end of the film, then you only misled yourself and kind of missed the
point.
And anyone who didn't like the way No Country for Old Men ended was probably surprised at the end of Titanic. |

No Country replaced the narrative with a long pretentious monologue which wasn't even germane to the fabric of the film; thus drawing more attention to its
horribleness.
Don't get me wrong. No Country is an important film in how it fits into the Coen brother cannon, but the ending was dreadful. |

But the monologue was instrumental in tying together the plot & title of the story. Tommy Lee Jones was a sheriff not fit to handle the out-and-out evil
that was Anton Chigurh, and had he not said so (yes, somewhat pretentiously), the point would have been very unobvious.

Has to be Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The ending is so abrupt and unsatisfying, you just want to kill yourself. |

The Road to Perdition. The ending was so pathetic it took an otherwise good movie and made it totally unmemorable.

That is THE worst line out of any James Bond EVER and there's some cheesy lines in those movies. |

Saving Private Ryan - actually most of the latter part of the movie was slow and boring

Did they die? Did they escape? I had to draw my own conclusion! |

They died. The movie was pretty clear about that without showing Newman and Redford shot up to bits.
