I guess I'll just have to switch that power-voting time to Kris (he wasn't great but it still was better than Lil/Scott). I would probably be forced to inflict pain on innocent children if Lil/Scott stay over Kris (and Allison). Scott is a great guy and all, but I'm not tuning in for America's Sweetest Man. That said, I've heard Kris benefits from texts (not really sure where I read that or if the source was anywhere near reliable), so that kind of makes me feel better.

I think Lil is staying for a while. We are down to only two chicks, and it is a pretty "white bread" group of contestants. I think she has a loyal group of fans that do like her. I did in the beginning, but she hasn't had an outstanding performance yet.

I think of all the guys left, Gokey currently has the worst voice, but he's a favorite, so he gets a free pass.

Anyway, according to tradition, tomorrow's boot has to be between Allison, Kris, Adam and Scott because they're the only ones I like. Allison and Adam aren't going anywhere, so we're down to Kris and Scott. In season 3 (which this season loosely follows), the bootee was never previously in the bottom 3. Scott's been in the bottom 3, so Kris goes bye-bye.

I think Kris is cute in a baby deer kind of way, not an omg hawt kind of way, but tons of people think he's all that. Fine. But he's far from a great singer and he's certainly not better than Matt.

He's a pretty good singer but tends to stick to the same range and when he goes for a different end note, it's not always great. Matt's got a better range and is less safe in his choices. As for recording, his voice tends to be thin and the three As all have better recording voices. So if he leaves, I have no issue with it but I do wish he was here past Scott and Lil.
