I also hated TK & Rachel... more than Eric & Danielle, who actually had some funny moments. Or at least Eric did.
TAR13 representation in this thread: - what if the divorcees had actually learned to read their clues - what if terence the vegetarian had not suggested that he and sarah go for the meat-eating fast forward - what if the frat boys had not skated by on everybody else's bad luck - what if anthony had not had his good looks to fall back on when he & stephanie were eliminated? |

- what if the frat boys had not skated by on everybody else's bad luckThey didn't, they skated by because they raced better than one team every week (compare the TAR13 eliminations to a season like TAR7 which was full of bullshit ones that were almost entirely caused by bad luck. The only team who were "unlucky" were Terence/Sarah, who even said in the episode that they knew they were making a risky gamble - a team who wasn't so intent on playing for first place would have survived). What if Tom/Terry got booted because of their moped penalty (with the BQs leaving the following ep, with no team sucking worse than them)? |

If Christie and Jodi got a better taxi in Jaipur, we won't see Mark/Michael sabotaging the detour for their own consumption and earning the 1hr penalty. If Mark/Michael were not lucky, They were edged out by the following teams: Steve/Linda, Christie/Jodi, Amanda/Kris, Mel/Mike If Jaime and Cara got stuck at the find a drawer task. Jaime would probably have strangled the old herb shop owner. If Jennifer doesn't ask Preston to carry her on the first leg... ummm, they'd be last anyway. |

But even if they did survive Leg 3, I could see them going out in Kuwait, since they seemed pretty awful at asking for directions and Peter/Sarah lost there for the same reason despite no obvious mistakes on their part. Except for their NEL. And for the Ken/Tina NEL since that was basically due to shitty taxi luck.Absolutely - they got lucky with the NELs, not in beating the other teams on the elimination legs. They bled more time at the tasks than any team in history which makes it easy to villify them, but the idea that every team was so much stronger and Dandrew only beat them with sheer luck doesn't hold up. Besides, there will never be a team luckier than Meredith/Gretchen. |
