Does casting do any kind of tests to see if survivors are mentally stable? |

Im guessing that they do health tests etc so that they wont get to sick out there or whatever. but do they like, see if they have any psychological problems or
whatever? does anyone know this

Yes. They undergo psychiatric tests. I don't know how Coach passed either.

Yeah, they do. I remember Probst saying about players getting different coloured dots based on their psych profile or something like that. He said they've
let on a few reds in the past.

Yes. They undergo psychiatric tests and they choose at least 3 crazy people for each season based on the results.

Every castaway is given a colored dot, and as a previous poster mentioned, red = danger Glenn Beck said that CNN let him have a show, and he must have been a red dot Have a good one! |

Given that someone from the original series committed suicide after being voted out, I'm sure the producers do somewhat stringent psychological profiling.

Yes of course all all reality shows do psychological tests if not there might have been castaways that killed each other. xD

I don't know why people here think it would be a pass/fail thing. It's a what type of crazy are you test. They have various quotas to fulfill.
Unfortunately they don't fill the whole cast with crazy people. It's about 5 crazies to 11 wooden mactors.

survivor ever). he killed himself
anyway, they either let people who are mentally unstable on the show or their tests are terrible. b/c otherwise coach wouldnt be on the show. >.> hes CLEARLY a mythomaniac |
