I posted this a few months ago when they were actually racing but I'm reposting just to make a point!!! I think Mike and Mel are the least deserving team this season. Amanda/Kris and Zev/Justin at least fit the 'Unfinished Business' theme with the U Turn and passport issues. Mike and Mel shouldn't have any unfinished business - they made it further than anyone expected and should be grateful they made it as far as they did!!!

And Mel and Mike:
- Didn't stand out as an interesting team and were not funny or memorable. They were a less interesting version of Michael and Kevin who were from a more recent season, so would have seemed like a better choice
- Do not have sex appeal (I can list many more interesting or sexier teams and at least that's another positive for Amanda and Kris)
- Were not strong racers, if anything I'm concerned whether Mel will survive the race since he's like 70 or something now
- They only finished in 6th place while there are still many teams that finished in the top 3 that were better choices
- Weren't screwed over and therefore don't deserve another chance as much as others
- There are already 3 parent/child teams with Ron/Chris, Margie/Luke and Gary/Mallory (and Toni and Dallas were better than M/M)
- There are too many teams from Season 14 (and Mark and Michael were better than M/M)
- The 'gay' quota is also filled with Luke and Kisha (and Sam and Dan were better than M/M)
- The 'Z list celebrity' quota is already filled with Flight Time and Big Easy, and to a lesser extent Mallory (and Miss USA Erika was better)
- The 'older men' quota is already filled with Gary and Ron and if they wanted a racer around 70, then Nick and Don would have been better
