lol I actually thought this was far and away Probst's best blog effort yet. Two reasons:

- It shows some evidence of planning and editing. Most of his blog entries look like some first draft scribbling of whatever popped into his head when he sat down at the computer. Sure, life is like that, it's not edited and formed into a story. But Survivor, and even Ben's imagined life, are. That's why we watch tv, go to movies, read books, etc. This blog entry actually had a topic, an idea he wanted to convey, and was generally organized to effectively convey it. Sure, most of the good lines were quotes from other people, but Probst managed to excerpted and presented them in a way to communicate.

- He's not trying to be some kind of expert commentator or analyst, which is the aspect that makes much of the blog content so silly. Either last season, when he kept telling us things about Fang that we could see weren't true, or in general that he discounts half the contestants based on age and gender. This entry doesn't try to provide analysis, and so avoids failing at it.
