This is what transpired: 8 Year Old : "Mom, can I have some of these apple slices?" - pokes her finger into pool of floating apple slices (they are floating in a syrupy / watery pool) Mom: "DON'T TOUCH THE FOOD" <moves over to peaches> 8 Year Old "Can I have some of these" - pokes finger into pile of floating peaches.. Mom : "STOP TOUCHING THE FOOD" <moves over to Jello section> 8 Year Old "I'll have some Jello" - PENETRATES JELLO WITH FINGER. Mom : "DON'T TOUCH THE JELLO" I wanted to bitch slap them both, 3 Stooges style. >:-(

(except for the salad) Before the Asians took over, there was at least some variety in the place.....now...it's the same freaken thing every day. (I only go once a week)

I remember going to my Grandparents to visit during the summer & we had to go the breakfast buffet on Sundays. There was this extremely LARGE family attacking on both sides...plates that were piled with bacon only that had to be 6 inches high. I remember the blobby Dad was smoking between his spoonfuls of some kind of fruity-looking cereal.

It wasn't too bad.. but I wasn't a picky eater. So many elderly people are buffet eaters. I just found out a couple of weeks ago that my dad and step mum eat at the casino buffet 4 or 5 times a week. I'm like.. "What the hell?" He said they just don't like to cook anymore. My dad is an amazing cook! I'm hating it that he's getting so old.

A girl I used to work with was down south at a resort a few years ago and was behind a half naked couple in the buffet line up who were drunk and had their hands in certain body places before they started man handling the food. Yummers!!
