Well at the time I was really excited because I figured it would be inland and I wasn't the greatest swimmer. So I was excited there would be land challenges. While I was in casting I was taking swimming lessons just in case though. When we got to China I was stoked because we originally flew into Bejing where we stayed on lockdown for two days, then flew to Shanghai and drug our suitcases all over the freaking city sweating our asses off. We got on a train that we slept on for 15 hours into the jungle, then picked up by a truck and then good ol ponderosa! It was crazy for me to see a place I had never really desired visiting on my own, but I'm SO glad now it was in China. Made me appreciate it a lot more. As for Neleh, I LOVE her! I was a high school kid when Marquesas was on. I would wear my survivor marquesas shirt to school every thursday (nerd) and then have huge parties with about 40 people over at my place to watch. She finished the show and got a job working for a news station here in utah. One morning before school I saw she was only 15 minutes away so I called my friends and we all drove to this radio station at 6 am! She was so sweet, came and took pictures, signed my shirt, all that good stuff. I gave her my email and she would contact me anytime any other contestants were in town to visit her. I met Lex, The General, Hunter and Paschal that way. she lives in oregon now and has two kids. I always told her I would get on the show and of course she smiled and nodded, but I haven't talked to her since. I'd love to catch up though and see if she watched. It's crazy cause i have tons of pictures with her from the different times I'd go see her... I always wondered if she remembered who I was when China was airing... hmm. Anyway And for the collecting stuff. I Confess, Im a huge survivor nerd. i bought my torch, my fei long tribe mat and the fei long chinese armor I wore in one of the challenges. I have some tree mail and my buffs. My red shoes are in a cool frame. I found an exact replica of the hidden immunity idol in this little shop in the virgin islands that i had to buy cause it was too crazy that it was there. I have about 25 different buffs from the past, a lot of which are signed from when i went to cocoa beach when i was 20. I have the games, t shirts, posters, even old tv guides that survivor was on. Its cool to now be a part of that family. :)
