There was pushing and shoving going on at both clue boxes. Being called a bitch isn't such a bad thing, people can normally get over it unless they're insecure with themselves. Kisha/Jen shouldn't have been laughing even if they were joking because it was a tense moment at the pitstop. I can understand why Margie got so upset though, she's defending Luke BTW this was almost as epic as when Jonathan hit Victoria at the mat

A deaf boy being called a BITCH does not equate to being oppressed, especially when he was acting like a BITCH! A man should never use violence to gain an advantage over a woman (even if a million dollars stands in the balance), but let's say the money is worth doing that, at least own up to it. People who use their disability as a crutch will never be happy because they will never feel like they belong. Hell, "hearing" people have instances of miscommunication. I hope this is a lesson to him...maybe after seeing the episode after living it, will give himself and Margie another perspective. GROW UP.

Which really tells you that it is really just an event that occured between these racers that they let get the better of them both. At the first clue box if someone jumped on my back to reach something I would have instinctively put up my arm as well. And who knows how a deaf person reacts to a surprise like that. Something that was also said was "you don't call a deaf person a bitch" I can't remember if Luke or Margie said that, but makes me wonder if this is a particularly offensive insult. I think that both teams over-reacted, but Luke's hyperbole is exactly how deaf people react to emotional situations. They have to use motion instead of voice or minor facial expressions to make their point. So having worked with deaf before, Luke's response was not surprising. Kisha and Jen did the right thing and apologized, but they need to try and understand that it isn't normal communication going on between these two teams.
