I liked her first album, didn't like her second.

I really like the second and thought it was her best yet when it was released, but I have found myself reverting back to her songs from Some Hearts now. I really wish she'd take more risks in terms of producers and writers.

Carrie doesn't strike me as much of a risk taker. I mean, the girl used Roman White for every video she's ever done even though he's probably one of the shittest directors around. I wish she'd work with Joseph Kahn or someone like that. Maybe try her hand at coming up with the concept herself.... explore a more creative side.

She also worked with that Bright guy on both albums so I'd like to see her work with a different producer...one that will maybe push her out of her comfort zone a little.

With the success of Taylor Swift I have to wonder if they'll go back to the more popcountry sound since it's clear that that's what sells the best or will Carrie stick to her guns and go even more traditional country? now THAT would be risky IMO...

It's weird because I remember there was talk of her sophmore album from like June or July (even though SH was still selling rather well and still in the top 50 albums)....the album didn't hit until October..... with her being like, ya know, the biggest star in the WORLD I figured there would at least be some news in the media...... guess she'll have to break up with Mike to get the buzz really going.....just like she started "dating" Chace right around the drop of the last album to ramp up buzz...... hey, maybe she can talk about Tony Romo texting her again? that was classy....
