Well there you go. Scruffy freezes his bread. I think now you know everything you need to know to make an informed decision now nomi.

Rinsing rolls would be a lot more fun than OT is today.
Also: Staring at a pile of bricks. Counting bathroom tiles. Exploratory surgery. Using a neti pot filled with ammonia. Eating tofu. |

I've actually done that 'counting bathroom tiles' thing. But I'll save that story for when I need some excitement.

I just take a slice of ciabatta out of the freezer (in ziplock bags), nuke it for 30-40 seconds, and it's almost like it just came out of the oven, even to
having a crisp crust
of course, it's homemade ciabatta cut in 1" thick slices, so it's good to begin with |

Dude, that's actually funny.
Mark this day on your calendars, folks. The first thing Nomi ever posted that made me chuckle. Especially noteworthy since I still wish I was fucking dead. |

I put mine right in the toaster after taking it out of the freezer.

if it tastes bad after freezing, you must be doing it wrong. or maybe it was bad bread to start with?
speaking of bad bread, i bought Wonder last time (yeah, i said it!), just cuz i've never had Wonder before and you know, it just has that kind of image...and yes, it deserves a bad rep. so sweet and soft (in a yucky way). |

I freeze hamburger buns/hot dog rolls because they always come in an odd number. We defrost them and then toast them on the grill...can't really tell the
difference.
As far as bread goes, I only buy 100% whole wheat and unfortunately those loaves are small so it never goes bad. I do refridgerate my bread though so maybe that prolongs it. |

Day-old bread freezes better than fresh bread. Just saying.

My grandma buys bread on sale and sticks it in the deep freeze. Hers always ends up freezer burnt somehow. So, as a kid we always had freezer burnt sammiches
and Hawaiian Punch concentrate b/c she didn't know to add water. That stuff burns going down!
