If Stephen has Taj's HI and hides it somewhere in camp, and somebody like Coach or Debbie finds it, what happens? Does it stay with the person that finds
it, is it returned to Stephen or returned to Taj?

As I understand it, Les, the rules specify that the idol cannot be stolen from one who possesses it. It may be given away by its owner, as we were
shown Taj giving it to Stephen. Stephen has ownership, of which he is clearly aware, and if it was removed from where he put it, it would be returned to him
according to the rules.

It has got to be Erinn that is sent to Exile. She's completely MIA.

Thanks for embedding Anywho! And thank you, Chad.
Did JP say the same "changes their life, changes their game, changes the way they look at themselves" again this preview? I think maybe he thought the exile episode last week was actually conditions for this week's' exile, and so he repeats it this week to finally get it right. What else could it be? Hmmm.. and Erinn has Stephen's red sweater. Hmmmmm |

Record number of life-changing events!!!!
I dunno. It's not like Probst is doing these things live. There doesn't seem like any way he could forget what episode it is, and no one would mention it to him so he could re-record. So the arguing is after the reward challenge, before the immunity challenge? Or was that a concatenation of several days worth of arguing? Erinn at exile explains the sweater. But why would Stephen or Taj pick her in the first place? She's supposedly their fourth - no reason to punish her, lots of reasons to keep her on the string. Thanks for embedding! |

Jeff shows the Tyson boot - says another blindside, a double blindside b/c Sierra thought she was going and said Tyson was whispering to her at TC saying see you later sister Says Sierra still in this game and that vote wreaks havoc on everybody as people are saying they are upset and they didn't know and nobody can be trusted now and that gets further amplified this episode Sierra then showing calling out presumably Debbie and Coach and daring them to say they didn't say something and said to Coach she will walk out of game right then if he looks her in eye and say he didn't say that (whatever that is) Coach goes bye bye and Sierra says you are such a liar. Debbie says she has become such an angry person and that isn't the person she knows and Sierra flips back saying you aren't the person I know jeff then says and once again, EI for one person is horrible and the result changes their life, changes the way they play the game and thinks it changes the way they look at themselves. Big stuff happening once again (I am wondering if Sierra may go to EI myself - I can see her fitting that description after everything that has gone down :shrug) |

thanks Trix!
ok, that cements it for me that no way in hell is Sierra going to join back up with Debbie and Coach. Personally, I think they're pretty ballsy to even ask her to do it after the way they talked to her last time. |

The thing I'm wondering today is why Coach is going back and forth telling Sierra one thing and then JT and Stephen something entirely different if he wins
immunity.
Also, neither JT or Stephen can have won it if Coach is telling them that he 'told them (meaning Debbie and Sierra, I guess) that I can't do that to those boys'. The inference being that the others wanted to vote either JT or Stephen out and that Coach wouldn't go along with it. |

He could just be speaking in general terms; like he couldn't have formed a counter alliance against them. It seems as if the potential Timbira alliance
happened prior to the IC, so they could have plotted against JT/Stephen then, and now Coach is backtracking.
Though I think its obvious that the exile is either JT or Erinn ... both are absent in so many scenes. JT is only visible in the talks with Stephen/Coach, which appear to be post-IC, given how much seems to be pre-IC. I think the boot will be Sierra (honest approach that gets into trouble with everyone) or Debbie. No one else makes sense at this point ... Coach's beard isn't quite there yet. Erinn has been absent in the preview, so that's unlikely. Given that they've focused on THREE targets in the previews instead of just one, its likely not a misdirection. |

SCRAMBLING TO SAVE
THEMSELVES, TWO CASTAWAYS SELL OUT A FORMER ALLY BEFORE TURNING ON ONE ANOTHER, ON "SURVIVOR: TOCANTINS -- THE BRAZILIAN HIGHLANDS," THURSDAY, APRIL
30
I do think that Sierra is the one with her heart on her sleeve that gets in trouble with everyone because she is still there and tells Debbie and Coach that they are in trouble. However, the other clue about scrambling to save themselves sounds like the original target of Sierra won the IC and they are forced to turn on one another. They sell Sierra out, she wins the IC, and then they are both on the chopping block. Or maybe Debbie and Coach are just unsuccessful in targeting Sierra and then turn on each other. Who knows. |

yeah i agree, i was thinking sierra might win immunity otherwise why would they target each other and not keep campaigning against her?

Episode 10 - Solving Riddles | ||
|
Well after being out of town for the past 5 days and catching up on all the posts - here are my thoughts. (and there are a lot of them as I try to absorb
everyhting I have just read.)
There was the early promo/TV guide preview where it states that two people are left scrambling (after the Tyson boot) and then turn against each other. This was spec'ed to be Coach and Debbi but I guess it could also be Erinn and Sierra. I really don't think that Coach and Debbi would turn against each other at this point. So I am going with Erinn and Sierra both try to convince JT/Stephen/Taj that they are with "them" and try to throw the other person under the bus. Apparently Coach told someone that he couldn't vote agains "those boys", meaning JT/Stephen. I would take this to mean that JT/Stephen have placated Coach and he is back on with the warrior and wizard. You have the argument at camp where Sierra is telling (or at least appears to be telling) Coach/Debbi that they are both lyers. It isn't clear whether Stephen/Taj are privy to this argument or not but if they are they are getting info on the dynamics of Coach and Debbi's game plan. (And I am sure are filing it away for future reference.) I am speculating that it is Sierra who is the "truth teller" who gets "into trouble" with everyone. After that outburst, I am sure that Coach/Debbi will be lobbying hard for Sierra's boot. But I also see Sierra spilling enough during this argument to raise some red flags about Coach and Debbi's gameplay. Perhaps this is where Stephen/JT get the information to conclude that "Coach lied" which was a conversation also shown in a promo. So we know that JT/Taj are safe from the pics of the final four challenge. Sierra is disliked by everyone but at least she is (finally) showing some backbone and is done trying to suck up to Coach/Debbi. That is definately contrary to the "first impression" people had of Sierra and goes with the seasons theme. The mouse has finally developed a roar which (I think) bodes well for her staying this week. The JT/Taj/Stephen alliance still hasn't reached their goal of removing all the obstacles to getting to the end. Not as long as the Coach/Debbi alliance is intact and they are trying to pull Erinn and Sierra back into the alliance. Since that appears to be a dead end as far as Sierra goes, Coach/Debbi will look to Erinn. I see Erinn (who hates Sierra) going to JT/Stephen/Taj and talking up a Sierra boot which they will appear to agree to. (Coach and Debbi are already on board with that) She will think that Sierra is the boot.... for the second week in a row and Erinn will think that she is in the catbirds seat. But then JP's comment about being "cocky" comes into play. JT/Stephen/Taj have always seemed to be able to separate "personal" from the game. Although they may not like Sierra (for reasons not really known) they know that she can be their pawn. They will pull her in and proceed to blindside the strongest player which would be either Debbi or Erinn. Now Debbi is strong and aligned with Coach but Erinn has shown that she is playing the game and can't be trusted. I can see reasons for each of them being targeted but once Erinn is exposed as not being trustworthy she loses her whatever advantage she had. So after a long rambling post, I am seeing a Debbi boot in another blindside tonight. That's my story and I'm sticking with it. (until I change it....LOL) |
