^^I know, that made me even more bummed about tonight. I would have loved to hear him do That's Life. I expected that Anoop would have been the star of the night tonight and, of course, barely get any compliments from the judges. |

Thanks for the heads up, Red, I will have to tune in for Anoop.
What I would love is if Anoop with or without some fellow Clef Hangers made a guest appearance on one of my fave shows The Office. There are so many things the writers could write in using Andy and Anoop, both formerly being in college a capella groups. Andy could have a rivalry with Anoop or even be a big fan of Anoop for representing a capella groups on AI. The rivalry thing would be great, with Andy talking shit about Anoop and then somehow Anoop passes through Scranton and they have an a capella off. *Hangs head* I know it's a silly pipe dream, but I have been dreaming of an Anoop appearance on The Office since Anoop made the top 13. ETA: And, of course, Kelly would have to be a psycho groupy of Anoop and follow him around with her puppy dog eyes in love with him. (Mindy Kaling needs to get on writing this episode STAT!!!)

Not sure if this has been posted, but Anoop's Idolatry interview with Slezak is up. It's a gigantic 5-part interview and he says a lot. Dude is
ridiculously well spoken, intelligent and has clearly kept up with the online buzz about the show.

That's interesting that he watches all the EW stuff. Fuck... If I were a contestant, I couldn't do it. Hopefully he watches and puts the volume up
when Danny's in the room.

I love how he addressed the "stank face" in the EW interviews. I like that he can laugh at himself. I'm gonna be sad when there's no more
Anoop interviews to watch. And I'm actually gonna brave the tour again this year just to see him.

yeah, I went last year for Jason, it wasn't so bad. And the tour is actually coming closer to my city this year so it will be easy. Hopefully I will get
better seats this time.

I'm going to head over to Idolatry right now & watch the Anoop interview, can't wait. Also, I have another plot line on how they could get Anoop
on The Office.
The AI Tour actually comes through Scranton and Kelly wins a radio contest to "Win a Date with Anoop." Kelly obviously brings Anoop to the DM office to show him off to everyone and of course rub Anoop in Ryan's face. Dwight will say/do something ridiculous involving Anoop's studies in BBQ and/or Folklore. Andy gets all up in Anoop's face challenging him to an a capella off for the rest of the office to judge. I am getting obsessed with this. I really want Anoop on The Office, damnit!

Michael's interview of Anoop was GREAT. Anoop really did a great job explaining how everything went down on AI and how he sees himself going forward. So
much content in the interview rather than a bunch of "you knows" and "likes" and incoherent ramblings that most contestants end up rattling
off.
Anoop's confidence going forward is a great thing to hear and see. It makes me that much more hopeful that he will land a deal and get his album out. |

A fantastic interview. He already seems to have everything in perspective and is optimistic and more importantly, serious about moving forward in the industry.

Every year, there's a contestant I take for granted and don't realize their greatness until they're gone. For me, it's Anoop this season.
I've really enjoyed all of his post-show interviews, and it's clear he's such a down to earth guy. I wish him the best of luck in the future.
