I actually like that can better than their logo they have now. And I'm pretty sure this is Pepsi for the people who like Pepsi but think high fructose corn
syrup is poison.

I would try it just because it's made with sugar, not corn syrup.

You know something is bad for you when adding a ton of sugar to it actually makes it healthier.

When is Coke adding back the cocaine?

I'm drinking one right now. I like it a lot and I normally prefer Coke. I always thought Coke tasted differently from when I was a kid, and apparently it
did. They switched to HFCS in the 80s. This cane sugar sweetener in the Pepsi gives it a stronger taste but without the heaviness.

okay, i'm going to have to try it. normally i'm a Coke Zero (that's what's in the Frigidaire right now). but all pop did taste better when i
was a kid...and it came in glass bottles...with corks (jk).

Need to find some of that stuff. In NYC they used to sell the Coke in glass bottles from Mexico which had real sugar. Also for passover they sell Kosher Coke
with real sugar but I never did find any this year.

Just read this in my e-mail right after I read this thread:
The sugars may affect your appetite differently because of the unique ways in which they affect malonyl-CoA, an important appetite-suppressing molecule in the brain. Glucose causes malonyl-CoA to rise, resulting in less food intake. Fructose, on the other hand, lowers malonyl-CoA, resulting in more food intake. So that's the big whoop. And it tastes better. |

you are right Ramona, they starting pumping HFCS in everything in the 80's because it was so much cheaper than sugar, then guess what America got much more
obese, more fat kids and much more diabetes.
HFCS does make you crave more sugary sweet stuff, sugar makes you full of sweet stuff. Pepsi with sugar is still full of phosphoric acid which is not good for you and especially not good for the enamel on your teeth. |

Coke Zero is great. But that is probably just the effect of it eating my brain

Not only does Throwback taste better, most places around here are selling a twenty ouncer for less than a dollar.
