Get them on the same sleeping/feeding schedule. Otherwise she'll never get any sleep.

Are they going to be identical? If not, have her get rid of one. Twins are no fun unless they're identical.

Yup, they are identical.

Perhaps a lesbionic marriage to a supernanny, if legal in her state.

There is a sleep book out there - can't remember the name. My friend has twins and she never let them sleep in the same room. They sleep so much better. Of
course, now at age 6 they have decided they have to share a room.

Mine slept in the same room and were fine.
The help that meant the most to us was an extra set of hands, and homecooked meals. Casseroles, chicken pot pies, salads, anything that's not delivery type food. When you're stressed, exhausted, and producing milk for two babies, having healthy comforting meals made a huge difference. If she's breastfeeding, after she feeds them, tell her to go nap and you'll wake her when it's time for the next feeding, and then stay to help her with that feeding if she needs it. A nap is more restful if you know someone you trust is looking after the babies so you don't have that pressure of listening for them to wake up. |

Maternal? As in motherly?

If one boob is a little bigger than the other, does that make them asymetrical twins?

Identical or fraternal. You were close though. :)

Shit - I don't have twins, so what do I know?
I just wanna know if my identical twin babe fantasies occasionally exist in reality. Is that so much to ask? |

My cousin had twins on April 1st! They are still at the hospital so I don't guess I can pass on any advice. An extra set of hands is always good though.
