You know, it's weird, but I think you're right - they hit North America, Europe and Asia; they missed South America, Africa, and Australia/NZ.

Honestly, I think its a budget/lowered Airport Drama thing. That is, if you want to eliminate airport drama, you need to go to the airport less often, which means more cases where there's two legs per country, and traveling from country-to-country by boat, car, or train, which obviously rules out intercontinental travel in all but the rarest cases.

Additionally, we're lucky we got some good Europe love in this leg. For whatever reason, Russia seems to be over-represented lately (we went there last year, too, for another double-stop.) I don't mind going back to countries on the race - hey, I mean, it's a small world, right? But it seems to me to be a bit strange that TAR keeps going back to the same countries in back-to-back years. Did we really need to go back to Russia for two legs after getting Russia for two legs (plus one in former Soviet republic Kazakhstan) in TAR 13? We had India in TAR 12, TAR 13, and TAR 14.

I really hope we get some "Damn, I didn't expect they'd go THERE moments" for TAR 15. I'd probably start it with two legs in Montevideo and Santiago, move on to two legs in Rabat (Morocco), go up through to two legs in Oslo and Helsinki to a leg in Masqat (Oman), head through to two legs in Taipei (Taiwan) and finish it off in Wellington, NZ before heading to End City.
