I'm not getting where Joan caused the dumbass planner to quit. She was actually being quite reasonable on the phone
I have a feeling it was more a matter of being overwhelmed and not wanting the bad publicity, so they threw a hissy-fit and tried to blame it on someone else. But there was nothing unreasonable in Joan's demeanor I think somebody else said it earlier - if they can't handle that, they have no business being in the profession Joan's party was a blast, and was much better designed than if the planner had stayed! Annie's party reminded me of someone who is trying too hard to hide the fact that she's white trash....and knows it I never watch poker, so I'm thrilled Annie will completely disappear from my life |

Why didn't the Donald get a hold of the party planner and find out what really happened?
If it would have been the other way around and Joan accused Annie of causing the planner to quit I bet Donald would have investigated. |

Or the production-hired planners were never, ever going to make it all the way to the event- and there was going to be a last minute scramble for both teams.
They do afterall need a show, you know.
How the hell did they do this event last winter without it being leaked who the endplayers were? |

The designer thing had to be a set up. The guy is world reknowed -- but who could even stay in business if they were that bad? They could only provide white or
red draping? He would not allow her to have his cell phone number? Or speak to her directly? And OMG, lounge chairs? Like the ones on my patio? We were
supposed to think, Oh how unfair, Joan got a dud and Annie got clouds floating over her guests heads and ice sculptures of refugees!
But the designer was sandbagging and it was part of the show. So was riling up Annie when she visited the design office. They KNEW she was coming to sign contracts and they were ready! Every Apprentice finale contains an Oh I Can't Believe That Just Happened event, just like the designer quitting. Remember Bill Rancic "finally" finding his signage on the dumpster deck? So, it was expected that something would happen. Annie said she's watched it before, she should have expected it too. Clint was funny when Joan got off the phone and said the guy quit: "Did you insult him?" LOLOL. |

To me, I think Joan actually did a better job incorperating her charity, as they set up and helped plan it. She did a better job with her charity and raising awareness. I also LOVED the idea of the celebrity impersonators. Also yeah, she had the biggest celeb there, Kathy Griffin (Yeah Annie got the top poker players, but none of them are mainstream celebs). Last, she also had clearly the better branding.
