No i think she was safe but it is the last fucking time might as well use it just in case there was a slim chance she would go...what would be the down side of

I don't remember Jeff asking for it, which leads me to think Jeff's invitation and the playing or not of the idol was edited out.

I believe Jeff said that 'tonight was the last night the immunity idol can be played.'

Well, if Stephan did still have it, in order for him to 'keep his word' and look good in Coach's eyes, he could have given the idol to Erinn. Coach
never knew that Stephan had possession of the idol, so Stephan keeps his word, votes for Erinn, gives Idol to Erinn, Erinn is immune, two votes Coach...bye
bye!
But no matter what, I'm a happy camper Captain $hit for Brains is gone! |

Coach THOUGHT there was, but if it was never played, there's no reason to believe that (until he's told otherwise). Besides, Taj might want a pretty souvenir. When was the last time an HII was never played? Ever? |

This may have been Stephen's $1 million mistake. He obviously wanted Coach gone. So why tip his hand with the third vote? Everybody knew the other votes
were going to Erinn; why not just give the HII for her to play? Then Coach gets HII'd, and Stephen retains his "wizard" status (and, perhaps,
JT's respect). He gets Erinn's gratitude for being kept in the game, and Taj gets to feel like a power player instead of third place.

I think because Stephen felt secure hence why jeopardizing by taunting the HII, making him looks obnoxious.
Same thing with Parvati in S16. She found the last HII, but she left it in the Exile Island because she didn't want to be bothered with it and looked bad in front of the jury for taunting the HII when she didn't need it. |
