I think he got mostly honest critiques. The "guy at a bus stop" comment was truth. He was too casual and not dynamic enough. He was able to listen to these type of comments and improve. This I respect.
Alison was treated horribly. She was critized for her personality even though it was adorable. She was criticized for her wardrobe, which should have been a minor point.
