While I am a revisionist hater (loved him the first time around, not so much after) he was still just Survivor fan Rob C. I guess Thailand is still a great season in my mind because it was all about strategy, which is why so many people still hate it! I really don't mind the genuine bashing, or maybe a valid point if there was one from somebody who thought Coachbag played a good game (lulz!), it's just so deja vu all over again the way the tards start flooding in once the waters are safe -SJ™

But fwiw, Probst mentioned on the Australia DVD commentary that he thought Australia was the last "real" season, and I kind of agree with him, partially because many of the mactors we see today want to end up like Elisabeth. She was the first (and only, really) survivor to jump from her survivor fame to something more, but it wasn't her intention before going on the show. After her, you saw people try to famewhore themselves into something more .

If even CG hates someone enough to not root for them ironically, you know they're fucking horrible. It's pretty obvious that if you remove the desperate trolls, the only Ben fans are the idiots dumb enough to get brainwashed by his lies. And all they can do is just repeat the same cliched sayings over and over again because they're not even good enough trolls to make up reasons to like the guy besides "OMG HE'S SO AWESOME DAILY COACH <3." Dragons slain. this is the only season of survivor where i've gotten so bored by an episode id stop watching, go do something else and completely ignore that "survivor.S221Eblbla293bla.avi" file on my deskrop for half a week (this happened almost every episode) simply because i didnt want to be annoyed by the crap anymore. its the only season where ive willingly ignored tons of extra scenes (about 50% of those that where interviews by coach). its the only season where ive fast-forward'd through many parts simply because i couldnt fucking stand it AND i knew what was going to be said which made watching it pointless AND annoying. so i didnt watch it. :) (example is coach exile scenes) its the only season that made me feel dumber then a fucking doorknob when i watched. the only thing that made me not stop watching was the fact that i loved the 10-20% of each episode that WASNT about coach. you know, that part of the show that was exciting, entertaining and left you wanting more and wondering what would happen next... you never wondered what would happen to coach next, his shenanigans and bs got predictable and repetitive before the first episode ended and they where annoying within the first 5 minutes of the episode. tldr: youre wrong, this season is a shitfest and it couldve been amazing if they didnt cast coach OR just NOT SHOW HIM. i dont care that some people find him "entertaining". i dont care that some people "love to hate him". i just loathe him and i never wanted that shitstain on my tv-screen.
