Congratulations James "JT" Thomas Jr. - Winner of Survivor Tocantins! |

You were not my top pick to win the game, you played it well and deserved to win it there at the end.
Congrats! |

Congratulations, JT!
First person to win a unanimous vote, have no votes cast against him, and win the fan vote. Perfection. |

Unanimous - unbridled - unapologetic - extravagent - and sheer joy J..T. <3!
Congratulations on the sweep and never a vote against him. I should never believe the doubters who saw things in the editing that made me doubt his ownage. He did great at tribal too. Just was always who he was - and that is a sweet guy with a humbleness that attracted people to him. |

You did it, it took 18 seasons but someone played the perfect game. No votes cast against him, and won all seven jury votes.
I wasn't a fan, but I wasn't a hater...but I give credit where it's due...good on ya, JT. |

It's not like he did it accomplished that by being an amazing player. Some people just have horseshoes up their asses.
Does anyone remember?: "OMG STEPHEN, HOW ABOUT WE VOTE TAJ OUT TONIGHT AND HAVE HER USE THE IDOL!!!!" Only a true genius could come up with that. |

Congrats to JT! I don't think it's possible to play a perfect game, but you did a nice job.

I'm surprised it took 18 seasons for someone to finally play the perfect game.
Congrats JT! <3 |

And the winner of Survivor: Tocantins is...
James Thomas, Jr. from Alabama, aka, JT!!!
You needed the money and you were the best player, in terms of likability, hard-work, honesty and integrity. Not to mention all the challenges you won! If you're reading this, JT, what a gamble you took, taking Stephen to the Final 2, and not Erinn! Jeff should have never said to you before your decisive vote, "JT, if you make the right decision, you'll be a millionaire tomorrow night." Probst should stop trying to influence votes with his comments. Yet, you were faithful to the end and kept Stephen. What a gamble for a million dollars! It all turned out good in the end, with a unanimous jury vote. Enjoy your million and spend it or save it well. |

I was kind of hoping Stephen might pull of an upset, but the way the tribal council went, if I were on the jury I probably would have voted for JT too. It
almost seems they were doing Stephen a favor by not picking him.

I liked JT from early on. He has a natural charm. He's one of the most natural players I've ever seen on Survivor. Everything he did was a natural
extension of his personality and of what you have to do in the game. He picked the best F2 partner for him, someone who could be the other half of his brain,
who could be what he couldn't, and who would crumble when sitting against him. He never overdid promises -- everyone knew his #1 was Stephen. He won the
challenges he needed to win, no more or less. He knew what to say to people. He knew how to make the best choice at F3, not the easiest choice, but the best
choice. I also liked JT because he broke some of the tired anti-Southern stereotypes which pop up in Survivor casting.
He wasn't one of the absolute best winners ever, and Jeff constantly interjecting in the last few TCs helped him, but he played one of the most well-rounded games ever, he kept a pretty good attitude, and I'm very happy he won. |

Congrats JT! You were kind of dull, but I liked you better than Stephen. Game well played!

Survivor is becoming more and more like charity. Meh. Terrible season.

He played one hell of a game. Brawn will only get you so far - it was his natural ability to charm and smile and make friends that gave him the edge. Everyone
says J.T. could not have made it without Stephen - however I think just the opposite - Stephen needed J.T's. social skills and J.T. needed Stephen's
take on the game . Great pair - Congratulations J.T. !
Best winner ever. One more thing - that accent - I never had a problem understanding him - it was charming and coupled with those eyes and face - WINNER! |

I was sort of vacillating for a while there (at F4, then F3), but Stephen proved himself to be a total weasel, through and through, when he made that side deal
with Erinn to backstab JT, and at that point he totally lost my respect.

JT's FTC performance was brilliant and won the game for him. Not much more to say really. He was a very satisfying winner.

While he is not my favorite winner (Sandra still holds that spot), he definitely is better than some of the more recent winners, and could possibly be one of
my favorite male winners. So, congrats JT on a unanimous win (ironic how my favorite, Sandra, is so far probably the closest person to "perfect"
winner, with Earl close behind (Earl's vote against him from Rita counts as more than Tijuana's final vote against Sandra)).
