"I just really like being naked," the "American Idol" star tells visitors with an apologetic shrug, according to the magazine." I hope this wasn't meant to sound sexy in any way, because let's not gloss over the fact that Kelly Clarkson is a skin pigmentation procedure away from being Grimace. If I saw Kelly Clarkson naked I'm almost positive my first instinct would be to throw a net over her.

They got really lucky to be blessed with more than 1/2 an ability to sing (or whatever they do) and they get paid bazillions of dollars to do it plus lots and lots of free perks. I get it can be stressful and the hours are completely ridiculous. But it isn't brain surgery. And guess what, you have time to work out. And you should. Fat Kelly Clarkson personally offends me. I have most of her CD's (except the last one since it apparently just made you want to drag something sharp over a vital artery) and I really enjoy her music to workout to. But come on Kelly. No one is asking you to rex yourself out. No one is even asking you to be super adorable like Carrie Underwood. But muffin topping it over too tight +% and looking beyond bloated? It's disrespectful to your fans, and it shows a general disinterest in yourself and your fans. Look, I know KC is not the skinniest girl on the block and she is all about being "real". But she looks unhealthy. And that doesn't look good on anyone.*

She did get out of her element a bit for All I Ever Wanted, working with some new people and trying out a few different types of songs. "It is about continuing with the formula, but that doesn't mean that you can't try something different," she said. " ... 'Ready' is different than anything I've ever done on an album. I've produced a song on the album. So we do definitely do different things on the albums, but the basic formula is variety. I never want to do the same song twice. Which is what happened to me last night. I kid you not. Kelly Clarkson does her own laundry and she does it at an Asian-run 24 hr. laundromat down the street from my walk-up. She was seriously washing her bras. Just like me. Awesome. spotted. I have no idea why she was there which makes it that much more great. She was with a driver in a big black van and a posse of several girls who I presume were her bffs from home since they all had southern accents. Kelly was wearing her hair in a messy bun and had on sweats. Just like me. Because what else do you do laundry in? This encounter made my visit to "The Mat II" as exciting as airconditioning in my walk-up. Kelly Clarkson!!! At my laundromat!!! I've obviously been listening to "My Life Would Suck Without U" on repeat for the past 24 hrs. Living in New York just got that much cooler. Carrie Underwood (left, AP) comes out far ahead at No. 1 with $14 million and Chris Daughtry is only No. 7 with $2 million, two positions behind Kellie Pickler ($2.3 million). That makes Kellie Pickler the top grosser of her season, topping the fifth season winner Taylor Hicks (No. 10, $300,000) and Daughtry who has sold, by far, the most albums. I'm also surprised that Carrie is so far ahead of Kelly Clarkson (No. 3, $4.2 million) given that Kelly writes more songs than Carrie and should be collecting more royalties from lucrative songwriting. And how is Jordin Sparks ahead of Daughtry? (Probably some endorsement deals and whatnot). Here is Forbes' list of top-earners for the period from June 2006 to today: 1.
