The Coronation Song: No Boundaries by Kara DioGuardi.

Poor Kris, having heard the song already; it would almost be better to have tried your own interpretation without anyone else's out there first. I like Kris' interpretation at the start, too, but he's extremely pitchy in this lower register, which detracts. He gets up the register heading into the title line, although it's still pitchy and he's straining to be louder than the accompaniment; perhaps the range of the song exceeds his? The third verse, not much better unfortunately, so wisely he abandons the melody and freeforms the entire line, and does so pretty convincingly but for a pitch issue here and there. Can't fault him too much for this, since the song is so .. um ... well .. I think I would have preferred a Tamyra joint.

Randy: Lemme say this. You should be proud of what you've done in this competition. You've done amazing. That song fits your voice well for me, better than Adam.
Kara: I don't want you to be judged by that song, it was too high. You've been incredible to watch week to week. You've come into your own. I hope people vote on the season.
