What's distrubing is that Fox used to say that they could tell powervoting and they throw anything over, I believe 1200 votes done in 2 hours, out. They , supposedly, had it figured that if you use a phone, the most votes you can get is 600/hr. I was skeptical how they can really tell. Now I know that they just let all the votes come in, text and regular. They have no way of screening anything. Fox said that to discourage the voters from powervoting. Arkansas has a tough job ahead. Buying 38 million of Kris cds, just in their state will be a difficult task. I feel sorry for Kris, because it's not fair to him how everyone will be polite to his face, but they will be thinking that he doesn't deserve to be the winner. One more thought: I questioned him getting into the top 13. His performance was just ok(Ricky Braddy was good). If ya'll have it taped, you'll see that the judges were surprised that he got in, but I don't think they realized the ramifications of him getting into the top 13, yet. It was powervoting from the start!

But in the end, releasing voting numbers has never been done before. Why do you think Idol and AT &T did that?

They supported their guy. Big fucking deal. No one cries about support when THEIR guy wins (read: 2008 Election). Sorry, California shouldn't have voted for Adam then. Lots more people there. And at the end of the day, does it really matter? Two weeks from now, people will forget. For example, I have no idea who won 2 seasons ago. Or who won Survivor last year. Adam is fine. He'll most likely have a bigger career than Kris. It happens all the time - Hudson, Daughtry, McPhee, Clay Aiken, etc. Not a biggie.

It will take a lot more than a few crazy online fans to get someone to have 11 (!!) of Adam's hits on the iTunes Top 100 (or 8 from Kris, for that matter).
