He thought Adam should win, so why should he pretend to be whooping it up over a Kris win? You sound like an oversensitive Kris fan. I actually was a Taylor fan, and Simon was way shittier to him than he's been to Kris at all. I don't think Kris fans can complain too much about last night. I mean it's Simon Cowell. He's an asshole, it's what he's good at, right? He wasn't even that assholish by Simon standards,

If nobody tried out for AI these assholes wouldn't have anything to be overpaid for. I would feel the same way if Adam or anyone else won and they didn't give them the proper respect. I don't expect Simon to jump up and down and smile and cheer when someone wins that he wasn't pimping but he could at least remain standing and/or clapping for a bit longer. Like it's been said though I suppose I should expect Simon to all of the sudden respectful just because it's the finale.

And even if he is the best judge, I wouldn't take his opinion too seriously either. He actually thought people like Melinda and Danny were relevant.

No offense to Kris, because he tried his best, and its not his fault that Walmart America voted for him, but Simon is not stupid and knows that a Kris win was mostly the underdog vote , a spiteful, or homo hate vote. Simon did not think Kris was worthy of being in the top 2, until ONE performance-Heartless. Really, one performance qualifies you to be an AI? Simon was just double talking, trying to get viewers to tune into the finale. He knew how the voting was going down and had a feeling that Kris' votes were going to bump either Gokey or Lambert from the finale. He knew deep down that Kris is more of a musician rather than a singer. Simon is interested in BIGGER fish to fry than Kris. He wanted a world rep like Adam, not a nice forgettable guy like Kris.

No, if you watch the video, Simon sits down. Paula, Kara and Randy stand up while Kris sings his song. From their reaction, Kris winning went over well with the top 13. The only people who didn't like the win were Simon and others who thought Adam was entitled to it. Whether it was the OTT, Adam's sexual preference, or whatever, a majority of the voters wanted Kris to win. Kradam fans said they did not care who won. Kris' fans meant it. Again, where is Simon today praising Kris?

It's clear he never cared about Kris until the f3 when he realized he might actually pull an upset. When he did pull one upset, Simon decided to make it all about him and say he was responsible for Kris making the finals and then tried to give him the "you should be proud of making it this far!" speech he always gives to the f2 loser. Then Kris pulled another upset and Simon couldn't take it. <3 I really don't care though, it just makes his win funnier.
