The show began with the groomsmen discussing what had happened to Wellington. He was practically sliced in half with a head blade. A brunette girl, Beth maybe?, is worried about Lucy and Chloe. She keeps getting their voicemails when she calls them. The sherrif and his deputy examine the chandelier and determine it would have taken a lot of time to set up, therefore the person who did it killed the reverend to get him out of the way to give the killer access to the church. They think it is a Wakefield copycat. Back at the Wellington house, Trish tells Shea about Richard and Catherine's affair. The sherrif begins to interview everyone about their alibis on the day of the rehearsal. Richard says he spent the day with Madison. When the sherrif asks him what he knows about Wakefield, he says "only the basics. He went on a rampage and killed a bunch of people." The sherrif interviews Madison. She confirms she spent the day with her father and details everything they did together. When the sherrif leaves, Madison asks her mother and Abby if she did good. She tells them she told the sherrif exactly what her father told her to say. Abby questions Catherine and Catherine says that Richard was not with her that day. Catherine shows the sherrif some newspapers with the stories about Wakefield that she found in Richard's briefcase a few days earlier.

Henry tells Abby that JD had said he had one more surprise for him. Abby goes back to her room and JD is waiting there for her. He tells her the surprise he had was that he had planted a firecracker in the unity candle at the church. It was an old prank he and Henry used to play when they were kids and he thought it would make Henry laugh. JD tells Abby he thought he saw Wakefield at the church yesterday and he followed him and found something. He asks her to come with him and he will show her. They go to the woods and he shows her a body hanging high in the trees. He cuts down the body and it is the lower half of Uncle Marty. A few seconds later, the upper half falls down too. They go back and tell Henry about Uncle Marty. Abby takes Henry and JD to her father's house and shows them the wall he has about Wakefield in the attic. The three think the sherrif didn't really kill Wakefield and is still tracking him. They confront the sherrif who insists he killed Wakefield and it is a Wakefield copycat he is tracking. JD said he was going to dig up Wakefield's grave and the sherrif became angry and locked JD in a storage room. Abby and Henry decide to go dig up the grave on their own.

At the bar, Cal and Chloe do not yet know about Wellington. Cal overhears a local man telling his friends about a ring he found on the beach and used to propose to his girlfriend. Cal sees the ring and realize it is the one he lost. He tells the man and his friends it is his ring but realizes he is not going to get it back. Cal tells Chloe about the ring he lost and that a woman in the bar is now wearing that ring. The man and his fiance are dancing and Chloe approaches them, slaps the man across the face and plays the part of the spurned girlfriend. She finishes by saying "oh btw, the baby is yours." The man's new fiance slaps him across the face and takes off the ring and throws it across the floor. Cal grabs it and he and Chloe run out laughing. They return to the house the groomsmen are at and learn about Wellington. Chloe points out that a head blade was missing from the museum the day of the scavenger hunt.

Madison knows where the key to the storage room is kept and lets JD out.

Henry and Abby dig up Wakefield's grave and find a skeleton in there.

Here I lost my signal for a minute and when it came back Madison was looking in a mirror, wiping something off her face, possibly blood. JD is running through the woods, knock on a door and the burned man opens the door and lets him in.
