He showed up with his baby in tow to show off his kid to some friends who work on the show. He didn't get kicked off the set...he wasn't looking to be on it. My guess is in addition to just being pissy about AI in general, he said what he said about Adam specifically to dispel the rumor that he showed up looking for Adam and was kicked off the set. How could that rumor be true if he dislikes the way Adam sings? Just my opinion.

Just supplying info. What happens in anyone's life, how pissy they are or aren't, if they get booted off a set, if they hate someone else, if they're gay, straight, ugly, or hot has no bearing on whether or not I like to hear them sing. Though a pair of wings, some platform boots and guyliner does make for a more interesting show to watch... And yeah...no one should ever need to come out publicly. It's not like anyone's demanding a press conference from Anoop or Allison or any other contestant that is currently single proclaiming their straightness. Whatever...just give me a good CD and/or a great concert and I'm happy.

Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening! Clay speaks the truth! I felt like I was being punked the whole season because the "world" was going crazy over this over-the-top Broadway singer. Also, thank God for Gene Simmons speaking the truth and saying Adam isn't a rock singer. Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! That was obvious to everyone but the Idol judges.

Yeah, I'm confused by this one also. There are photos of him with his last boyfriend, tongue to tongue, all over the Internet. He is openly gay here in LA. And he went out with his new boyfriend in public before the show's finale. Do you want him to rent a billboard on Sunset Boulevard advertising his sexual preference? It is what it is. Just like it shouldn't count against him, expecting him to become the poster boy for homosexuality also doesn't seem right.
