He has no chance of doing anything in the light heavyweight division, I personally think he should drop weight and take on Anderson Silva, Rich Franklin, Micheal Bisping. Apparently there is a rumor that he'll fight Shaq! in an exhibition fight.

As for tonights episode absolutely amazing from start to finish, Cameron is a major threat I don't know if he'll win but he could make the finals. Frank looked good in the loss I don't think the guy that beat him will do anything in the next round.

It looks like its going to be a 5-3 split Whitson, Peterson, and Faulkner are clearly the frontrunners, thats round 1.

Round 2 will look like this

Small (US)
Dollar vs Whitson

Small (UK)
Miner vs Peterson

Large

Faulkner (UK) vs Wilks (UK)
Johnson (US) vs Osipczik (UK)

I think Johnson clearly makes it to the end, while Faulkner should beat Wilks, if there is an upset I can see Dollar beating Whitson with Miner having no chance against Peterson

My stream went out during the title fight, how did Machida win? I know it was KO, but was it one of those one punch knockouts (like Rashad/Chuck), or a barrage and one happens to knock Rashad out?

It was Machita landing a flurry of really, really really really great shots and never letting up the pressure when he had him, like the guys precision is amazing. That stance is goofy as hell but it's incredibly difficult to deal with because it's near-impossible to actually punch him.

I was shocked Rashad didn't attempt a takedown- I suspect Rashad may need to do more work with BJJ if he wasn't going to it immediately due to him not once attempting the take down (hence Rashad believed he'd be submitted.).

Mark my words-------- Machida will defend this title for at least the next couple years. He was simply awesome and I have not watched anyone come close to his ability in a very long time. Rampage stands no chance. Ok if anyone has chance it would be Rampage

Hughes/ Serra was fun to watch but both these guys should hang it up now. Neither was close to impressive

Machida is simply on another level. Other than a body kick, I can't remember Rashad landing anything on him. I heard Rampage was willing to be the coach on the next season of TUF, so maybe it'll be Machida-Rampage as coaches. It'd be kind of cool to see Machida coach and give some insight into his unique style that no one can solve.

Hughes and Serra should both retire. Neither looked good and both would get their asses kicked by the young lions out there at 170 (Thiago Alves already beat up Hughes last year). Sean Sherk looks like he's gotten old too. Frankie Edgar was just too quick and beat him to the punch every exchange. It's interesting to see MMA Darwinism at work. The old guard is being now replaced by the young and hungry guys: Brock beats Couture, Nick Diaz KO's Frank Shamrock, Shogun TKO's Liddell and now Edgar beats Sherk. Who's the next old guy to get his ass kicked? I have a feeling Bisping might be too quick for Henderson when they fight.

Maybe it's just me, but it was kinda sad watching them fight... although it was supposed to be a good fight.

Machida on TUF would be a disaster- it'd keep him from defending for nearly a year, and the combination of a language difference and unorthodox personal style would probably not work right.

Well we don't know how "hard" those hits really were it is after all noodle arm Machida. It's possible that Machida did develope some power but you have to wait until he fights someone with an iron jaw like Forrest.
