Sydney was one of my preshow faves, but besides being the best looking girl this season, she kinda disappointed =/ I still love Sydney, but she latched herself
onto Joe of all people, who couldn't even save her. So by the end of the season, my opinion is that Sierra > Sydney. I just thought Sierra had a more
compelling personality and more purpose to the plot of the season.

I'd have liked Sydney better if she hadn't been such a coattail rider...something that even she admits to (and regrets).
At least Sierra was her own woman and told Douche to go screw himself when he asked her for an alliance after he tried to vote her out. |

Sierra didn't even have enough game to be a coattail rider. At least coattail riders have some sort of strategy. Sierra ran around crying until Jalapao
realized she was so ridiculously pathetic that they couldn't pass up the opportunity to get rid of someone better.
Sierra had no game, and that's why people like her. She was the odd-defying weak girl, despite not doing anything to actually defy the odds except be incredibly sucky. She was obviously meant to be another Courtney Yates, but lacked the personality and the actual underdog storyline. At least Sydney realized she rode coattails and has enough self-awareness to regret it and wish she would have played more independently. Sierra has no idea how pathetic she looked. Apparently she also doesn't get the concept of 5th place > 7th place because she still thinks she "slayed the dragon." |

She slayed the dragon as in she made coach looking like the douchebag he really was in front of millions by calling him out as a liar. It has nothing to do
with the game. Honestly people..its not that hard. Sydney, despite being incredibly hot, was boring, crappy in challenges and attempted to coat-tail ride.
Technically she didn't even get the chance because the dumbass voted off one of her main allies and gave JT, Steph, and Taj the numbers. What a
disappointment. I was excited for an epic Spencer/Sydney/Joe Vs. JT/Steph/Taj. Sierra > Sydney. Both in terms of popularity and gameplay.

OrsNaz wrote:You're just wrong, sorry. Sierra was not the one that made Coach look like a douchebag. Coach made himself look like a douchebag. If that was Sierra's entire purpose, then she failed at it horribly. She couldn't even get Jalapao to keep her over Debbie when she was clearly telling the truth and way more pathetic. As for Sydney, it wasn't her fault that Spencer got voted out so you should really know your facts. Joe was going to vote Spencer off, anyway, so that's on him. Sydney just wasn't enough of a gamer to get Joe to stay loyal. That's fine and she doesn't claim to be. Gameplay wise I don't know because they had two different strategies and they were never together. But in all other aspects: Sydney >>> Sierra. It's not even close.

As far as I know Sydney isn't a delusional freak.
So Sydney > Sierra. |

She did reveal to everyone that coach was a liar, which was what I meant. Why would they keep Sierra over Debbie? That wouldn't make any sense for the Jalapao three. It was a smart move getting rid of Sierra before Debbie and Coach, both were weaker at challenges and it kept Coach happy. JT was thinking about the end game and played smart. Just look at how he took care of Coach when he was eliminated. So you are saying Joe wanted Spencer gone? So she was coat-riding an idiot..hmmm much better? Terrible player, and you know it. Im not saying Sierra was amazing by any means but Sydney was just eye candy. Sierra > Challenges Sierra's 7th place > Sydney's 11th place Sierra being one of americas favorites > Sydney being forgotten. In fact, this convo is pretty much pointless because you obviously have a biased opinion as do I. Its all hypothetical at this point but if Joe got the boot and Sydney lasted I predict the game would have been much different. A few questions for Sydney fans: Why the hell did she wanna boot Sandy? Her, Joe, Spencer and Sandy could have taken on the weakest person in the tribe Stephen. |

OrsNaz wrote: Debbie was more likable, definitely better in challenges than Sierra, and had clearly been lying to Stephen & JT's face. They barely even wanted to vote Tyson out before Sierra, and only did so because they needed to take control. At least Sydney was well-liked. Sydney's social game > Sierra's social game. OrsNaz wrote: OrsNaz wrote: Sierra > Sydney in challenges? Sierra made it further than Sydney but her strategy was hardley better, considering she was one of the Timbiras who handed the game to JT. Since Syndey probably would have ridden Joe/JT's coattails through the merge, they're probably about the same in that respect. But at least siding with JT post-merge would have actually made sense for Sydney. And OrsNaz wrote: Yes it is pointless because they're too different people and neither one played a spectacular game, but the Sierra fans are delusional if they think she's better than Sydney at anything other than being pathetic. OrsNaz wrote: Because people somehow have come to think that Jalapao was always Spencer/Sydney/Joe vs Taj/JT/Stephen and that's not the case. Joe/Syndey/Spencer were not watching the show on television while they were playing it and could not see Taj & Stephen forming the exile alliance or pulling in JT. As far as they knew, Sandy would go and Taj would follow. When Spencer fucked up in the challenge, Joe still thought Spencer would go and Taj would be next. There were several people this season who were better at the game than Sydney: everyone who remained on Jalapao plus Erinn, Tyson, Debbie, and maybe Brendan. But Sierra? Definitely not.

Sydney's social game >>>>>>>>>>>>> Sierra's. That I agree with 100%.
Everything else you said ill pretty much rebuttal but Id rather not waste the time. Lets just agree to disagree. Except Sierra + Sydney > Brendan. In terms of gameplay. Brendan played a good game up until he decided to ignore the exile alliance for 3 days and not tell Sierra he had made an alliance with her included..dumbass. Sugar played a great game. Only problem was she stopped playing for herself and ruined the season for everyone on these boards because Crystal, Kenny, Sugar final 3 would have been amazing. Even if Susie was there..but Bob? yikes. Worst ending to a otherwise chaotic and unpredictably good season. |
