So this one time I was asked to cut a cantaloupe while I was staying with friends (back in my college days). I'd cut and sliced cantaloupe many times at
home, but for some reason I was nervous in front of my friend's mother and instead of cutting it in half, scooping out the seeds, then peeling and slicing,
I peeled the whole thing first. She looked at me like I was crazy.
But really, I'm NOT crazy. And I know how to cut cantaloupe correctly, maybe. (Yikes! I just looked at a couple of websites and they peel after they slice. Weird.) Maybe Stephen was nervous. Uh huh. That's it. |
