Posts: 14 (05/25/09 4:52 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I wrote this in another thread, but I'll post it here anyway... It's only going to get worse for the girls from now on Why is this? It's because of the Dragon-Slayer; many future survivors are going to be true noble warriors and adopt Coach's philosophy (How could future survivors not be inspired by coach?) about taking the best warriors to the end, and since these are usually guys and not girls, girls are going to win even less. And guys are usually more awesome anyways; they always seem to have stronger personalities and thus are more fun to watch. Guys usually do better in challenges as well...

Posts: 4 (05/26/09 2:44 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I'd like to think this is TV's way of making things up to men after all the shows and commercials all over television where men are completely incompetent dumbasses who would die without a woman to show him how to accomplish the simplest of tasks. See: any sitcom made in the past 20 years & about 75% of commercials featuring a husband and wife.

Women don't win survivor because they have a jealousy complex. The only time we saw women band together to crown a female winner was Survivor: Australia when Jerri, Alicia and Elisabeth made comments about being a woman when voting for her to win. And you could possibly say Jenna, but people voted for Jenna because she was the better player of the 2.

More women have been voted off first, but more women have been in the final four. There are different ways to look at it. I agree and even entertainment aside; women do quite well. Amanda making it to the final three (or two) in back to back seasons is quite an accomplishiment. I think steph also making it to the end of her tribe and then making it to the final two in the next season is also quite a feet. But the main thing is your point that more women are voted off first; and its not because they are not smart or have not played the game correctly; but because women are naturally weaker physically than men; so odds are when the game is first starting and before real alliances can be formed; women are more likely to be targeted and get voted early in the game. Really, when you think about it, women have done quite well despite being weaker than men.
