Oh, I agree BUT I think someone needs to seriously SLAP the paws of AT&T big time. This kind of shit shouldn't be allowed to happen again, period. And it's even more egregious because isn't AT&T one of the show's sponsors? <br><br> I don't think this should take away from what Kris has accomplished but should be viewed as an example as to how AI's text messaging/voting system is inherently fucked up. It allows those with unlimited text messaging and power texting through sponsor AT&T vote 1000x to every one phone vote someone can get in through busy signals. <br><br> The old voting system was okay when AI was a much smaller show the first couple of seasons but it's a megafranchise now. They should FIX all these kinds of inequities.

I hope people do make a big enough stink that AI thinks about using AT&T as a sponsor and how they count votes -- why do they have so few phone lines open for people with regular non-texting phones? If AT&T can afford to hand away 1000s of free cellphones and let people power text for 4 hours for free, they can't afford to open more phone lines for the average person who doesn't have unlimited text messaging? <br><br> Other shows limit the number of times you can vote. I forget which show it is -- it might be Dancing with the Stars -- but you can only vote 10x from your computer and 10x by phone. That seems like a much fairer way to judge these contestants. PLUS, everyone can get through using the phone lines.<br><br> I really hope they overhaul the system next year. It isn't fair to either Kris or Adam that this happened this year but it would be a crime if something like this happened again next year.

Hardly thousands. You get my point -- if AT&T can afford to let all this power texting to go on for free, why can't they afford to open more phone lines for those who don't have AT&T wireless? It reeks of AT&T monopoly to me. I have AT&T and a good number of text messages each month for just $5 and I still think it's really unfair to people like my mother who sat there dialing for 3 hours to get just 6 or 8 calls in with all the busy signals. Why should MY votes count so much just because I have an AT&T wireless plan with text messaging? <br><br> Next year, during AI season, if I wind up liking anyone as much as I like Adam or Allison, I'll just pay an extra $10 a month and have unlimited text messaging. That would allow me to send a good 2000 or so text messages easily in 4 hours, or 20000 text messages if I get power texting.
