Sorry But I think season 2 premiere was a little.. boring. First challenge was pretty incredible. But they had so many contestants it almost felt like a American Idol audition episode, and eventually it kind of dragged for me. Just don't wear it out with losers and I think it will be fun throughout. A couple of the people who were too boring to film the whole way should just be cut unless they wipeout gloriously. Got to give props to that woman who jumped off one swinging platform to the next, biffed her head and did a 360 flip into the drink, that might be one of the top 10 nastiest wipeouts I have ever seen. The commentary was gold but man did it get crazy repetitive. Like when is it enough to perhaps stop using the same nickname for somebody? The 100th? I swear I was gonna claw my ears off if I heard that guy called Cheap Date again. Is there another way we could call somebody happy a lot besides shiny happy? And if someone doesn't trash talk it gets kind of dumb to hear them call him Trash Talker over and over. I mean I get that it was a joke but it kind of wears thin after 30 min. I do not like seeing them do the same challenge 4 times in a row. I mean 1 is awesome, 2 is fun, 3 is ok, but wow major fatigue sets in after that 4th. And I don't even think that course was that great, really weak mild wipeouts. I will commend ABC for their new Wipeout Zone. They improved upon it so freakin much it is so much more fun. I hated the spinner because of the luck factor and the catapult is the best thing ever. Am I saying I hated the show? No I liked the show, just saying they should tighten it up a bit and it would be back to its former glory.

All the things you didn't like from the premiere were like that the season before. They only changed some of the obstacles.

From Zap2it.Com: Fast National ratings for Wednesday, May 27, 2009 Now that FOX's "American Idol" is gone for the summer, CBS had a chance to move to the front of the pack with its own musical programming Wednesday night. CBS came in first place with a 6.4 rating/11 share for the night, ahead of FOX's second-place 5.2/9. NBC came in third with 4.2/7, then ABC, 3.2/5, and The CW, 0.8/1. It was still FOX's game when it came to adults 18-49 though. The network earned a 3.5 in the coveted demo, while CBS took second with a 2.1, followed by ABC, 1.9, NBC, 1.5, and The CW, 0.5. CBS kicked off the night at 8 p.m. with a 5.9/10 for its first hour of the " George Strait: ACM Artist of the Decade All-Star Concert." ABC brought in the schadenfreude audience with the premiere of its obstacle-course alternate programming "Wipeout," 4.9/9, for second place. FOX wasn't far behind with its first hour of "So You Think You Can Dance" auditions, 4.7/9, while NBC's "Law & Order: CI" took a 3.6/6. The CW's "America's Next Top Model" repeat came in last with a 0.9/2. At 9 p.m. CBS' concert, 7.6/12, picked up in its second hour, as did FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance," 5.7/9. NBC's repeat of "Law & Order: SVU" got third place, 4.6/7, well ahead of fourth place ABC, whose premiere of the animated "The Goode Family" dropped it down to a 2.5/4, averaging a 2.2/3 when paired with "Surviving Suburbia" (1.9/3) for the hour, a significant drop for the sitcom without its usual "Dancing With the Stars" lead-in. The CW still trailed with a repeat of "Hitched or Ditched." CBS maintained its lead in the 10 o'clock hour with a repeat of "Criminal Minds," 5.8/10, whild NBC's "Law & Order" repeat got a 4.5/8. ABC's dying "The Unusuals" finished with a 2.6/4.
