It's really hard to pick a favorite, I think the right people have been getting eliminated (minus Ruthie <3) I want Rachel gone next followed by Tori with maybe Brittini for the win but Diem is growing on me a lot. I like her a lot better than the Duel 1. For the guys, I want MJ or Landon to win. For me its really hard to separate all the guys because they all look/act alike lol. I think Mark needs to retire. Can't wait to see my favorite Real World/Road Rules person Brianna for THE PIT. She is on my IPOD <3

A large group works well at this kind of set up because they can have 3 pairs team up, Mark/Rachel, Brad/Tori, Landon/Brittani, and they have Evan who isn't thinking about the fact that he has to knock off one of those three, so they can steamroll to victory. The only way to break down this big alliance is to see the people in the Duel call out these fuckers, but so far everyone has pussed out except for a few people calling out Evan. They need to make a challenge where EVERYONE has to face off at some point. This garbage of useless people floating to the end sucks, especially when it's a giant douchebag alliance. I like what someone had suggested earlier in this thread I think, to use some sort of tournament setup. Have them compete for a while as individuals, racking up points to be ranked. If they use a big enough cast, knock off the person that scores the worst automatically, if not just keep everyone until they move onto the tournament stage. Then set up the tournament by how they performed before and have them all go at it until you end up with a guy and girl winner. It would take out the voting concept, which is where a lot of the drama starts from, but it would be nice to see the douchebags get picked off.

In Battle of the Sexes 1, whenever there was a partner mission, you couldn't team with someone you already teamed with. That should be the rule (unless you've already teamed with everyone of the opposite sex). It would be fun to see people with conflicting interests try and decide who to save. Also, in the last Duel, they had duels on different days. They would have a male and female winner, but if it was a male duel day, the female would win a prize, and the guy would win safety, and he'd start the schoolyard pick. Most likely, you'll always have someone in the majority starting the picking process.

They definitely need to come up with a challenge in the future where everyone has to go into some sort of inferno/gauntlet/duel at some point. Way too many people just sail to the end on these challenges and win without doing a thing or winning a challenge.

I think the main reason they did it this way during the first Duel was because that was still when they only had half hour episodes, as opposed to now being an hour.
