8. Sydney (Jalapao, 11th)

Probably the most controversial placing yet, judging from everybody's opinions. Sydney was a woodland g0ddess according to Stephen and in the recap episode, we were shown scenes of her posing a threat to Stephen and he being somewhat intimidated by her. To scare someone like Stephen, who pretty much was relatively calm and composed the rest of the game, she must be doing something right. On the tribe, she was second closest to JT and I think that ultimately paid off, leading her to survive a whooping 3 tribal councils considering she was the weakest in the tribe physically. She couldn't help the fact that Joe was a dud and told her that if she didn't vote out Stephen, she'd be gone. Um... Of course she'd vote him out, considering she was a boot target the previous tribal already. She played up the flirt card well too, she had Joe as an ally and could use him as a shield in the possible merge. JT would be second closest to her (he became close to Taj post-merge) and yanno, she got screwed considering how many alpha males her tribe had, they lost 3 straight immunities, leading to her departure.

I'm sure she gets a lot of flack but she didn't make any mistakes with her game except that she was weak physically, which she couldn't help. Majority alliance? Check. Can't fault her for her alliance mate wanting to screw over another alliance mate. Flirt card? Played it well with JT and Joe. Threat? Socially, yes, a huge threat to Stephen/Taj/Sandy especially since she was getting along well with JT, she could do lots of stuff around camp. She got screwed with her tribe going on a losing streak so =(. Ohwells, she is the highest pre-merge boot because unlike previous pre-merge boots, she didn't fuck up her own game. She was in better with JT and that would put her in a good position but Joe screwing Spencer and telling her to vote for him or get voted out was a mistake.

















7. Brendan (Timbira, 9th)

Omg, it's Brendan! What a shocker. HE LOOKS FUG OUTSIDE OF THE SHOW, NEVER SHAVE YOUR BEARD AGAIN BRENDAN YOU ASS.

Okay, let's continue. Brendan played well tbh. However, he fucked up closer to merge by blatantly telling the whole tribe (or well, pretty much openly waved a flag that said 'HEY GAIS I'M BONDING WITH THE OTHER TRIBE'). He made a good choice with making the Exile Alliance but he totally fucked up at the merge by pretty much turning into a Sugar.

He had a good social game and was a huge physical threat. I have nothing much to say about him other than that since he ended up trying to play like Sugar so no, this is as high as he gets since he didn't fuck up as much as Sierra or something.
