yea forreal, I think you ranking them by character hurts Stranded because you were in 2 awesome seasons but were pretty boring in them both.

I say rank the games first... and then the characters. Two lists is better than one =P |

Ok, since there seems to be enough demand I'll rank the games and characters separate. =O
Er...there isn't anything more to say about Stranded ASS really, so that entry can stay exactly the same. But for now, I'll be ranking them by how awesome the individual game experiences were. |

Someone asked me to include this game on the list....so eh, I suppose it did have an actual "ending."
18. SF429's BB Remix 2
I was actually super excited to play this game, since it was my first ever full blown BB experience. I always thought I would suck in that format for some reason. Being an UTR nice person who can't really win challenges for beans seems like a recipe for disaster. Having never seen BB1, I didn't know who the eff half the cast were, and I only started watching BB2 cuz of the game. It was amazing to watch the game unfold almost as the same pace as I was watching the episodes. (In case you were wondering...I watch my shows ever...so...slowly.) The cast only started with 12 people. You'd think that would equate to top notch casting, but nope...far from it. There was promise during the first night. I think I remember almost 8-9 people online at the same time. Like whoa. It quickly went downhill from there. "Strategy" pretty much consisted of "who's the most inactive person left?" In fact the first two noms were the second and third most inactive, since Mawnya was a genius and didn't even put up Sheryl, who had never signed in at all. She was simply removed for being inactive for an entire week, saving us a round <3 I think there was another double removal, another person was removed for not signing in for 5 days also. We all cheered. The only redeeming thing about this game was Mawnya, who was very much in character and called bitches out left and right. It was hilarious. And Dr. Will, played brilliantly by JeffP3. He proceeded to screw the "BB2 alliance" over at F7, causing a huge divide in the house. We were all like "Zomg, three weeks in and the game finally begins?!? =O" This game moved along at a snail's pace. I think we did noms and veto on seperate nights, iirc? Meaning we were lucky to even get two people booted in one week. o_O I was ecstatic when it looked like there'd be no veto competitions in the beginning. Um hello, stick true to how they did it in old school BB2. It was all very tiring and tedious, especially when vetoes would get cancelled because only three people would show up. >_> So when Chenbot missed a challenge one lovely Thursday evening at the F6, it obviously pissed us all off. I asked in the treemail thread if we could possibly do a challenge the next day, on a Friday night to speed some shit up. She said "we'll see." We all didn't know what that meant, but surprise surprise the entire F6 showed up that night...sans Chenbot. We proceeded to stew in our own juices...one thing led to another and we proceeded to contemplate mass quitting. I think Jaime (aka Madhack) was the most adamant. I simply didn't care at that point. I think we all gave Chenbot one last chance to sort things all out with one last gathering that Sunday night. I don't think we were given much of an explanation. And by that time the damage was done already. The game had become a walking joke and there was pretty much no glory to be gotten from winning the shitfest. We all decided to quit and hand the win over to Cassandra, thinking she was some inactive uber n00b, except it turned out to be ILT, GoddessFiya from the Nightclub. I think this game phailed epically for a couple reasons. 1) Bad timing - I don't remember the exact timeframe. But it started near the end of V4, which of course UD, Madhack and ILT were involved in. It also coincided with the Nightclub, which amazingly 6 out of the final 7 were involved with. A part of me thinks that's the real reason we all quit. There were better games to focus our attention on. Lolol. 2) Bad casting - I mean seriously, is it really that hard to find people who care about the games they play in these days? Multi-tasking a million games at once can only be pulled off successfully by a select few. If you can't handle it, don't try it. It doesn't end well. 3) Bad hosting/ no co-hosts - Wither co-hosts? One person can only do so much. I think if there was a co-host or two, maybe the game could have been salvaged, a la Alaska. I'm not trying to make any commentary on SF429's hosting as a whole, but this game...no, just no. So there you have it. Hopefully that gives those of you who weren't involved a little more insight as to why we all decided to put this game out of its misery. No, we are not all whiney baby titsuckers. The game was no longer enjoyable for anyone, and neither the host or the cast seemed to care anymore. No need to prolong the inevitable right? I guess it's one of those "you had to be there" things. Believe me, you would have quit too. |
