I agree with Frankie. While I have always thought Kate was a slag though with great organizational skills, I never thought Jon was any bargain. He proved me
right by being a cheating tool.

What's interesting is that becoming rich has made both Jon and Kate a touch too juvenile for their ages. While watching the latest episode, I felt some
cognitive dissonance watching "hipster hair" Kate still playing the mom role. At some point, Mady even calls her "Lady" instead of mom, and
it felt just right.
But I'm not going to say they should just gives the kids to Aunt Jodi who to this day is still the biggest ditz to come across my TV screen in the past few years. |

I just wish someone at Bravo would grow a set and pull the plug on this show for the sake of the kids. Obviously their parents aren't going to be the responsible ones. |

I can't see how anyone can think for a moment that Jon isn't sucking fame for all its worth too. He would be bald, and poor, and barely noticeable in
a bar if he wasn't "THE" Jon Gosselin. 23-year-old tootsie will be outta there faster than a cat on speed if he decides to truly walk away from all the fame, and become "just Jon" again....Jon with a $28,000 a year job, an apartment in his
mother's basement, and 8 kids every other weekend and Wednesday night.
He accepted hair plugs and whiter teeth, and free food, and a gigantic mansion. He only wants to walk out NOW, when he can still get half of it. Don't kid yourself for a minute that he has any intention of rejecting any of the fortune that came with the fame. He is acting like an insolent teenager who wants to show off his fast car to the cheerleader next door. He only wants to be daddy when HE wants to be daddy. He's pouting because he has to be Mr. Mom. Kate is an uber bitch, no doubt. But, she has had to be in some circumstances. She needs that control over what is happening with her children and their lives. No one could raise that many kids, or even employ that many staff to do it, without some managerial skills. Its probably just a little more ingrained in a mother to keep that sense of control. I know I'd be the one in my marriage that made sure their clothes matched, their hair was combed, they ate something other than Kraft dinner, etc. I've always thought the kids looked pretty well behaved for how chaotic their lives must be. I haven't picked up on any superb parenting skills from Jon that were not Kate led. If she weren't nagging and bitching at hiim all the time, he'd be slouched on the couch with the remote control to his big screen in his hand, asking Leah to bring Daddy a beer. And when the kids got loud enough that he couldn't hear the game, he'd turn the volume up, and say absentmindedly "cut it out you guys." Jon is acting like he is being picked on by the media, and everyone is being a big, bad meany to him. If Kate had been slinking around bars, and sneaking in and out of a 23-year-old's house at 6 in the morning, Jon probably wouldn't smile and say, '"oh, they're just friends." |

I agree with the Aunt/Uncle, these are 'two' very sick and selfish parents. Take the children away from them. The show sucks, they suck and the kids
are 'entertainment tonight food'. It's the parent trap X's 7.

Is their marital problems going to be a continous theme this season, cause if it is i might pass. The kids are what made this show so enjoyable. I really have no interest in watching jon and kates marrigae fall apart. Id rather be left with the good memories of the show - Collin and his great one-liners and little tough guy attitude, Joels adorable ditziness, Hannahs maddy-like atttitude etc. |

I seriously doubt the marriage problems will be discussed any further in future episodes. I'm guessing what we'll be seeing are mostly shows with just
Kate and the kids out and about, although I know Jon will be in some episodes...but it's anyone's guess as to how many.
Supposedly they've already signed contracts for "Seasons" 6 and 7, and the filming will be back and forth between Jon having the kids and her having the kids...or somesuch bullshit. Who knows how it will actually play out. Or perhaps we'll get lucky and the show will be cancelled before then, but I'm not holding my breath since I doubt their greediness will just magically go away. |

Let's face it...all the hoopla and investigations and crap just makes it easier for TLC to keep the show running. Jon and Kate will continue to suck at
the corporate teat while sniping at each other, and the kids will continue to live in the fish bowl they call a life.
I don't see how anyone associated with this hot mess can get out of it without some damage. Even Kevin and Jodi are now coming across as bitter and spiteful, selling their story to tabloids instead of a reputable magazine or newspaper. My only hope is that someone was smart enough to set up trust funds for the kids. Living their lives like this has to have some payout for them, too! Mom and Dad sure get their gratification, while the kids get a bigger house they can't make a mess in, dogs they can't really play with, and a huge empty hole where their family and friends used to be. Sure hope there's some money left for all the therapy sessions! Hey, TLC...pull the plug, will you? Give these children at least some chance at normalcy, even if it includes divorce and all that entails. THERE'S some reality for you, Gosselins! |
