First off, let me say that I don't think that any of the winners were undeserving. I am one of those who believes the winner of survivor is truly the most deserving player in the game. Also, I feel as though there are two very important aspects of survivor, the mental and physical aspect. I am not against "Immunity Whores," in fact, i respect them a great deal. If Colby won Australia, he would most likely be in my top 5 winners.

Also, Every time I make this list, it changes slightly.

18. Amber: I had a pretty passionate dislike for Amber because I felt that she didn't deserve to be on All-Stars in the first place. Also, I didn't like All Stars because of the already-known reputations and the targeting of previous winners. While she did play a good game and aligned herself with the right people, I still feel as though she was less-deserving than the other 17 winners. Honestly, if her and Rob didn't get married, I would have more respect for her win because it would have been a beautiful case of having someone "wrapped around your finger." Rob M. deserved to win ASS and everyone knows it, however, a bitter jury gave it to Amber, who deserved it slightly less.

17. Bob: He may be one of my favorite winners. This is one case when my early favorite won the show. I had a soft spot for him and I LOVED seeing him beat the younger people in 4 straight immunity challenges and actually be considered a big physical threat at 57 years old (2 of his competitors were an Olympic Gold Medalist and a Personal Trainer). Despite this, lets face it, Bob was no strategic genius. But I was fine with that. In fact his win made me extremely happy, so I really don't care that he wasn't very strategic.

16. Vecepia: Did play an text book under the radar strategy but her edit left me with a slightly bad taste in my mouth. She had to overcome odds in the end, which I always love, and won two immunities when she needed to. However, I felt she lacked some significant power moves (other than the power-switch, which was an obvious and almost lucky change of events) to make me feel she deserves higher than the 13-18 rankings. Sometimes I have her in the middle of the rankings. Depends on my mood.

15. Todd: I didn't like how he played the game. He thought he was a lot smarter than he actually was. It's hard for me to rank him too high because of this. I personally thought Amanda played the best game. Todd got lucky a few times towards the end, but he did have a pretty good idea of how to play the game. He created numbers, yada yada yada. Played a good game, good enough to defeat a cast that knew how to play the game.

14. Chris Another underdog. While he did overcome the 6-1 odds of the final 7 to win, his strategy was somewhat spoon fed to him. Twila saved him, then Chris would come in a confessional and say "I got this. I have it under control. I aint going nowhere," etc. to sound a little more in control than he actually was. He won some pretty important immunities to ensure his final 2 spot. Gave a very corny, sappy, yet extremely effective jury speech which sealed his deal. I did like how he weighed his competition, getting rid of an ally Julie because he wanted to be in the final 3 with two relatively weak players, Twila and Scout, whom he knew he could beat in a final challenge.

13. Ethan Good UTR player. Picked two physically stronger people to align with, who would most likely become targets before him. I liked him a lot and he played the nice guy strategy which he pretty much perfected. His strategy was lacking and kind of relied on Lex to make all the decisions, which, while it is not always respected, is still a strategy, and an effective one at that. His biggest move was on Day 15 when he was without Lex and Big Tom, and made the decision to get rid of Silas, which was very logical, even though Silas worked his ass off to convince Ethan to let him stay. Didn't need immunities to last until the end, despite being a physical threat.

12. Aras I was a Terry fan, I'll admit, in a love to hate sort of way. I did respect Aras, though. While he wasn't the best strategic person (Like believing that Bob Dawg was more reliable than Bruce), he understood some aspects of the game, and helped maintain and keep intact the craziest alliance in the history of the game. He helped convince Shane not to quit, and helped diffuse some troubles within the alliance. He won a very important immunity to end Terry's streak. Him and Ethan may be pretty even and i think i usually have Ethan ranked better than Aras, but for now, i changed my mind.

11. JT I liked JT. He was very sensitive and friendship was very important to him. He played a good game. Him and Stephen seemed to be one two-headed player, and they worked well with each other. They were outnumbered, and JT used his very good social skills and very approachable and trustworthy personality to form a bond with Coach and take over the majority. He never received a vote against him and won a unanimous jury vote. A very simple yet effective strategy. Some people say he had too much screen time, but I like that every once in a while. Its refreshing after some UTR winners get no screen time. I respected JT's gameplay and thought he deserved to win. Stephen may have known how to play the game better, but JT's social game was better.

10. Jenna Jenna had one great thing going for her: she was able to adapt. She was in a comfortable position and was in the power alliance before being blindsided and ending up in the minority. She then had to trust someone (Rob C.) who backstabbed her in a desperate attempt to get back into the game. It paid off. She won a few very important immunities when she needed to. Her social game was extremely strong. Her telling the jury her reason for bringing Matt to finals was because she wanted a stronger competition gained her respect from jury (even though it was a lie.)

9. Earl I don't have much to say about him because i only saw Fiji once. I just remember that i liked him and that he played a good game against a lot of not-so-good players. Played a good social game and was also adaptable and had a good knowledge of the game. I need to watch Fiji again.

8. Danni Another underdog story and another UTR player. She worked hard in the end to switch things up and it really worked. Good social game. Taking Steph to the final two was the best thing for her to do.

7. Parvati Used her charm and cunning style to use people and play her good social game. She was good at strategizing and was playing against a lot of people who knew how to play the game (even though some people, like ozzy, did some stupid things to suggest otherwise).

6. Yul Was an excellent strategist who went face to face with one of the most likable and physically dominant players in survivor, Ozzy, and he beat him by one vote. He did it because he played a good social game, understood the strategic aspect, and gave a good jury performance. He would be 3 or 4 if he didnt have the idol the whole time. In a way, the idol was unfair because you could play it after votes were read. However, his knowledge of the game would have possible enabled him to get to the final 3 regardless.

5. Sandra Created the "as long as it isnt me" strategy. She understood that it was a game and tried not to let friendships get in the way, such as voting christa. I love her outbursts and her telling it like it is. She was hilarious, and didnt bring a lot to the table. She wasnt physical, her social game was so-so, but she beat the odds and absolutely knew what she was doing.

4. Tom The most physically dominant player ever. He was not safe for only 3 tribal councils, but his physical dominance and likable nature usually solidifies his status in my top 5 or 6 of winners. Strategically, he may have been a little too comfortable at times, but I was just really satisfied with his win and felt he was very deserving.

3. Brian Competition was extremely shallow, but Brian played the game extremely well. He controlled the mental aspect from start to finish, and while sometimes he did it in a mean way, he still was able to win a jury vote. Another season i want to watch again, even though it was pretty boring.

2. Tina Tina is extremely underrated. She played the mom/not a physical threat/ coattail rider role and played it well. She didnt really ride coattails, though, and her strategies along with Colby to eliminate pagonging by going for Amber and Jerry before Liz and Rodger was very smart. She played Colby like a fiddle and convinced him to take her to the final 2 with him. Gave a good enough jury performance to garner the victory over Colby.

1. Richard The first and best winner in my opinion. Yes, his competition was mostly dumb, but his strategy seemed to be a step above everybody else. Created the first Alliance and played the numbers. Had a pretty big target on his back because of his attitude, but still managed to win a jury vote. His biggest move was at final 3 immunity challenge. By forfeiting the challenge, he eliminates his decision to take either Rudy or Kelly, because he would have taken Kelly, and lost Rudy's respect and jury vote. Instead, he knew Kelly would take him, so he lost on purpose, and guaranteed Rudy's vote, which would have been the deciding factor.
