As the show's website puts it: Bringing dance and diet together, Dance Your Ass Off features talented, full-figured contestants who will have to lose to win. Each contestant is paired with a professional dance partner who will train him or her for weekly stage performances -- ranging from Hip Hop, to Ballroom and even Pole Dancing! Then they shake and rattle their rolls in front of a live studio audience and a panel of expert judges. PLUS SIZE POLE DANCERS??? Just ..... eeeeeuuuuuwwwwww. They might be right. Funny you should mention that. The blonde blubberbutt on "Dance Your Ass Off" was on Wipeout last summer. Obviously, she wiped out pretty quickly.

I LOVED Karla on wipeout and if she brings half that energy and fun, then I might have to watch this! She is at the 48 second mark and as she comes down the pipe, it looks like she has the necessary 'jazz hands' as she falls into the water.

Sure, the routines are way watered down and basic, but some of the zaftigs are giving it the old one two! I think the right person went--she really had no feel for it. And what?? No "OMG. I really don't need to see all that fat flapping around. Really I couldn't tell if anyone danced well as the bouncing flubber was really distracting. I couldn't watch the whole show and I doubt I'd ever watch again. I wonder who thought this was a great idea?

Why not cover them up at first and then give them costumes to show off their weight loss as the show goes on.
